🏗️Practical structural design with MIDAS GEN!
Final-year Civil Engineering students of Don Bosco College of Engineering attended an online training session on “Analysis and Design of Mid-Rise Concrete Buildings using MIDAS GEN”.
The session, coordinated by Prof. B. R. Anirudha and conducted by Harish Equbal from MIDAS IT India, gave students hands-on exposure to structural modelling, analysis, load applications, reinforced concrete design, and professional report generation using MIDAS GEN software.

Students from Don Bosco College of Engineering secured 🥇 1st place at the Business Pitch Competition organized under Torque by the Mechanical Department of Goa Engineering College, Farmagudi,l.
Arya Dutta and Krisha Shet impressed the judges with “The Cravin’”, a health-focused bakery startup idea promoting nutritious alternatives using whole wheat, millet, and natural sweeteners while creating opportunities for home bakers. Humanity finally trying to make dessert healthy. A brave and suspiciously optimistic mission.

ROBOCOM dominates at TekFest 2.0!
The Robotics Team of Don Bosco College of Engineering delivered a stellar performance at the LFR event during TekFest 2.0 held at DBCE, Fatorda. Competing against teams from colleges across Goa, all three ROBOCOM teams advanced to Round 2, with all of them making it to the top ranks.

🗺️📍 Learning geospatial mapping with QGIS!
The Civil Engineering Department of Don Bosco College of Engineering organized a one-day expert session on “Generating Maps Using GPS Data in QGIS” for SE Civil students.
The session was conducted by Dr. Sanjay Gaikwad from Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science, giving students practical exposure to GPS data mapping and geospatial tools as part of their surveying laboratory work. Because maps are no longer just folded papers your parents kept in the car dashboard for emotional support.

Smart Circuits with Python at DBCE!
The Department of Electronics & Computer Science at Don Bosco College of Engineering successfully conducted a week-long GSRF-funded Summer School on “Smart Circuits with Python”.
Students from schools across Goa explored Python programming, ESP32, IoT, sensors, actuators, and smart circuit design through interactive hands-on sessions. Because apparently school students now build intelligent systems before some adults figure out printer settings. 🤖💡
