It feels especially special to see an industry project that started as a real-world challenge from Bodhami goes on to achieve recognition.

Four talented Computer Engineering students - Leah Dias, Lisa Chloe Rodrigues, Miffy Doyel Rebelo, and Oshlum Fernandes who completed their final-year project, “Skill-to-Project Marketplace driven by AI,” at Bodhami during the academic year 2025–26, under the guidance of Prof. Sweta Morajkar and with direct mentorship from Bodhami

The project was built around an important new-age use case: connecting skills, learning and real-world projects — helping bridge the gap between what students learn and how those skills can be applied in practical industry contexts.

What makes this achievement even more meaningful is that the project was not just an academic exercise. It was an industry-driven project initiated by Bodhami around AI, new-age skills, skilling and education, giving the students an opportunity to work on a problem with real-world relevance.

A big congratulations to Leah, Lisa, Miffy and Oshlum for their hard work, curiosity and commitment. 👏

My sincere appreciation to Prof. Sweta Morajkar and the Department of Computer Engineering, Don Bosco College of Engineering, for their support and for creating an environment where students can take industry ideas and turn them into meaningful innovations.

AI for HRM professionals and corporate readiness for Industry Ready HR

It was a pleasure to be a speaker for a session with the PG students in Human Resource Management at Madras School of Social Work (MSSW), where we explored two critical questions:

What does the future of HR professionals look like? And what does it take to become industry-ready?

The session covered:

🔹 AI in Human Resource Management – how HR professionals can use AI for recruitment, research, writing, data analysis, automation, productivity and decision-making.

🔹 Building an Industry-Ready HR Profile – going beyond an HR degree to develop practical experience, business understanding, data skills, digital capabilities and professional behaviour.

🔹 HR Careers & Competencies – understanding how competencies differ across Recruitment, HR Generalist, HR Analytics, L&D and HRBP roles.

🔹 O*NET & Career Mapping – understanding occupations through skills, knowledge, abilities, work activities and experience requirements.

🔹 Building a Strong HR Resume & Personal Brand – showcasing projects, internships, certifications, achievements and measurable outcomes rather than simply listing qualifications.

🔹 AI Skills for the Future – prompt engineering, AI research, data analytics, automation, AI productivity and role-specific AI applications.

The HR professional of tomorrow will need to combine HR knowledge, people skills , business acumen, data, technology, AI to solve real organisational problems.

It was a great honour to be invited as the Chief Guest at Tech Mania 2K26, the annual final-year project prize distribution function and Tech Seed 2K26 project book release, organised by the Department of Computer Engineering at Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE).

It was delight to interact with the students and share a few lessons from our own journey of building Bodhami.

We spoke about the importance of solving real-world problems, innovation, continuous learning and taking calculated risks.

A few lessons shared with the students:

🔹 Never become too comfortable. Keep upgrading yourself every day and become a better version of yourself.

🔹 Solve a real problem. Technology is useful only when it solves a problem that people genuinely face. Product-market fit is critical for any startup.

🔹 Innovation matters. Don’t simply enter a crowded market with another similar product. Find your niche and create something differentiated.

🔹 Be willing to pivot. Our own journey at Bodhami took us from B2C to B2B and through several iterations before we found the right path.

🔹 Build a niche skill. Whether it is AI, engineering, design, analytics or any other domain, become exceptionally good at something.

🔹 Develop human skills. Communication, ownership, creativity, analytical thinking, leadership and people management will continue to differentiate successful professionals.

We also shared our journey of starting Bodhami in 2018, from a small space to building an AI-powered career ecosystem that has now supported 1.5 lakh+ students, 9 SaaS platforms, 6,000+ partners and a presence across 350+ cities in India.

What impressed us most at Tech Mania was the enthusiasm, creativity and problem-solving mindset of the students. Final-year projects should not just be academic submissions

It was a privilege to interact with the bright and aspiring students of Dempo College’s AI Business School in an engaging session on “Designing Careers in the Age of AI.”

The session explored how Artificial Intelligence is transforming industries, redefining careers, and creating unprecedented opportunities for the next generation of professionals.

Key discussions included:
- Understanding the impact of AI across industries and business functions.
- Emerging AI careers across horizontal and vertical domains.
- The AI skills every student must develop to stay relevant.
- AI tools that can enhance productivity, creativity, analytics, automation, and decision-making.
- The importance of combining Domain Expertise + AI Skills + Human Skills + Continuous Learning to build a sustainable and successful career.

One of the key takeaways from the session was that:

It was a privilege to serve as the External Examiner for the Final Year B.E. Project Demos at Don Dosco College of Engineering.

The students presented an innovative project titled “Skill-to-Project Marketplace,” a platform designed to bridge the gap between education and employability by intelligently matching students with real-world projects from startups, NGOs, and companies based on their skills, interests, and academic coursework.

Impressed by the students’ technical implementation, understanding of market needs, problem-solving approach, and confidence during the presentation

Honoured to participate in the Curriculum Review Meeting for the B.A. Programme in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the College of Multidisciplinary Studies & Research (Autonomous), Margao, Goa, held on 16th July 2026, following the invitation extended by the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) F. M. Nadaf.

Shri Damodar Pai Patnekar, CEO & Co-Founder Bodhami, Dr. Niyan Marchon, Program Director, Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Goa; Professor, Centre of TLET & TIP, Goa State Higher Education Council participated as an invited industry experts in reviewing the curriculum

The discussions focused on:
