Had a great experience delivering a session on “Digital & Cloud Transformation” for the PGDM - AI Business School students at Dempo College, Goa.

Had the opportunity to engage with some incredibly promising student founders at Damodar College, Goa, as part of their first-of-its-kind startup incubation initiative.

The energy in the room was real — 12+ ideas ranging from Green Energy, AI Software, Cybersecurity & Drones to Gaming, Music Apps, Logistics and Fast Food ventures.

Instead of just talking theory, we focused on what actually builds startups:

• Identifying the right problem
• Validating ideas before building
• Creating simple MVPs
• Understanding Go-To-Market
• Moving towards Product-Market Fit

What stood out was the intent — students not just thinking about jobs, but actively working towards building something of their own.

If guided well, some of these ideas can turn into real ventures in the next few months.

Glad to contribute as a mentor and looking forward to working closely with selected teams to help them go from idea → ex*****on.

Honored to serve as a Judge at PCCE IDEAS 4.0 hosted by Padre Conceição College of Engineering (PCCE), Verna, in collaboration with the Goa State Council of Science & Technology.

It was inspiring to evaluate 50+ advanced technology projects built by talented engineering students addressing real-world challenges. The projects covered cutting-edge domains including Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Agritech, Sustainability, Automation, AR/VR, and Mechatronics.

The level of innovation, problem-solving approach, and practical implementation demonstrated by the students reflects the strong engineering and innovation ecosystem being nurtured at PCCE.

Congratulations to the organizing team, faculty mentors, and all participating students for creating such a meaningful platform aligned with engineering solutions for everyday problems and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Bodhami CEO, Damodar Patnekar recently moderated a thought-provoking panel discussion on “Corporate Readiness and Skilling in the Age of AI & Automation” for students and graduates at Government College Borda

The 90-minute session brought together a diverse panel comprising elite panellist including an AI startup founder, a Chartered Accountant, a Government Higher Education leader, a skill development trainer, and an AI professor. The discussion was structured around four core pillars — general skilling, institutional readiness, industry impact, and practical AI upskilling for students.

Under Damodar’s moderation, the conversation remained student-centric, practical, and forward-looking. Key themes that emerged included:

• The evolving nature of entry-level roles in an AI-driven workplace
• The growing importance of adaptability, digital literacy, and problem-solving
• The responsibility of institutions to bridge the gap between theory and application
• How AI can act as an equalizer for first-generation and tier-2/3 students

The session concluded with a powerful reminder:
In the age of AI, employability is defined not by degrees alone, but by continuous learning, responsible technology use, and the ability to adapt.

It was a pleasure to be part of this workshop organised by the Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) – Education Committee and Goa Technology Association (GTA), in association with Swami Vivekanand Vidyaprasark Mandal’s College of Commerce.

The discussion reinforced a powerful reality:
AI is no longer a future skill—it’s a present-day career enabler. From how students prepare for careers, to how professionals upskill and stay relevant, AI is fundamentally reshaping pathways to opportunity.
