SDKL DAV Cent. Sen. Sec. Public School, Mansa celebrated the 80th Independence Day with immense patriotic fervour, enthusiasm and pride. Young performers beautifully portrayed 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐡𝐢, 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡, 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐢, 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐣𝐢 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚 𝐁𝐨𝐬𝐞, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐁. 𝐑. 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐝𝐤𝐚𝐫, 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐰𝐥𝐚 and many other inspiring achievers. 👉During the seminar, 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡, 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐚𝐮𝐫, 𝐃𝐃𝐎 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐤 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚, 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐣𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 and shared valuable information about the dairy industry. They highlighted the nutritional benefits of milk and encouraged students to include milk and nutritious dairy products as a part of a balanced diet.

👉The resource persons also focused on the 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐣𝐨𝐛 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. SDKL DAV Cent. Sen. Sec.Public School, Mansa observed 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝟏𝟐 August with great enthusiasm among students of 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐕𝐈 𝐭𝐨 𝐕𝐈𝐈𝐈, under the guidance of 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐫. 𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐝 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐚. The initiative aimed to sensitise students towards the protection and conservation of these magnificent creatures. 🌿

🎨 Students participated in an engaging elephant 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐤-𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲, expressing their love and concern for wildlife through creativity. 🎭

🎤 An 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐲 𝐌𝐬. 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐡𝐚 highlighted the major 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐬, 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧-𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲. She emphasised that protecting elephants is essential for preserving forests, biodiversity and ecological balance. 🌳

📚 Students were introduced to important conservation measures such as 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭 (𝟏𝟗𝟗𝟐), 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 to reduce human-elephant conflict, including precautions taken when elephants cross railway tracks. 🚆

🎥 A meaningful 𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨 𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 further enriched the session and helped students understand the importance of providing elephants with safe, sustainable and protected environments.

🤝 The celebration concluded with an 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐬 and promised to become responsible ambassadors of wildlife protection.
