It was established in 1985 by the Catholic Diocese of Lucknow, a registered charitable and religious society in collabration with the Management of ITI Ltd., Mankapur. It’s objective was imparting modern quality education, primarily for the wards of the personnel of ITI Limited and also for suitable and deserving candidates surrounding ITI complex.It aims at the integral and personal information of young boys and girls by giving them an education which is morally, physically and mentally sound. In keeping with the national aspirations, it helps the students to become mature, spiritually oriented men and women of character, active, useful and worthy citizen of India.Besides catering to the scholastic needs of the students, the school attaches great importance of the physical training, games and sports and cultural programmes and competitions for the children to develop in them a healthy competitive spirit and achieve excellence with the fostering of their creative talents. St. Michael's strives to inculcate into its pupils the value of freedom, respect for law and order, love and respect for the motherland and its people, appreciation for its rich cultural heritage and a sense of duty so as to enable them to live a full life and fulfill a noble role in life.
