Seva Pakhwada Report (Day 4–7)

Day 4:
The day was designated for visiting CWSN (Children With Special Needs). As our school does not have such students in the nearby area, we instead conducted a cleanliness programme within the school surroundings.

Day 5:
Being a Sunday and a holiday, the students actively participated in cleanliness activities in and around their own homes and localities.

Day 6:
A cleanliness drive was organized in the school children’s park. Both teachers and students took part and ensured that the area was cleaned and maintained properly.

Day 7:
Under the guidance of teachers, students visited nearby chortens and carried out a cleanliness activity there. In addition, the surrounding area near the crematorium was also cleaned.

Seva Pakhwada Report – Day 3

A cleanliness drive was conducted by the teachers and students of Govt. JHS Gnon Sangdong at Dupling Gumpa. Plastics and other waste materials were collected along the village footpath, covering the stretch from school to Gumpa and from Gumpa back to school via Upper Sangdong Village.

Additionally, the students actively cleaned their classrooms, ensuring a hygienic learning environment.

Sewa Pakhwada – Day 2 Report

On the second day of Sewa Pakhwada, a Swachchta Pledge was administered during the morning assembly, led by Sir Aditya Chettri.

Further, a cleanliness drive was carried out in and around the school complex. All the staff members and students took part enthusiastically, contributing to the success of the activity.

Sewa Pakhwada – Day 1

On 17th September 2025, 'Sewa Pakhwada' was initiated at Government JHS Gnon Sangdong. The programme began with a speech on the importance of Swachhta Pakhwada delivered by the School Incharge. Awareness activities on sanitation, cleanliness, and hygiene were also conducted to sensitize students and staff towards maintaining a clean and healthy environment.

World Environment Day 2025 with a theme " Beat Plastic Pollution" was observed at Govt JHS Gnon Sangdong.
A short programme was held, where :
1, Cleanliness drive was conducted
2. Plantation of flowers and fruit species were done
3. QR codes were attached in plants.
In the programme we had a presence of SMCs, Ex Panchayat and public of Sangdong.

"Meri Maati Mera Desh" campaign was observed at Govt JHS Gnon Sangdong.
The programme was witnessed by all the Officials and Panchayat members from Hee Gyathang GPU, Officials from Forest Department, SMC Chairperson, our staff members and students..
National flag was hoisted, Paanch pran pledge was taken, and plantation drive was done.
It was followed by Painting and Slogan writing competition among students. And the winners were awarded with prizes.
