Hi, I'm Sharaff Muhammed, working as an Accident and Emergency Specialist Physiotherapist in Royal London Hospital under NHS, UK.
I was not at all shocked when I realised that I was diagnosed Covid Positive, as I braced myself for the situation that I'll be getting infected with Corona virus, while at work.
Personal Protective Equipment or PPE was so scarce here that sporadically I'll be obliged to treat patients without any PPE.
During a routine physical therapy treatment session, I couldn't obtain the PPE, but it did not stop me from visiting my Patients.
During the visit, We (me and my assistant) noticed that a couple of patients were showing symptoms like persistent cough and fever, and in no-time they were referred for a Diagnostic Covid-19 test. The Results came Positive for the patients. Me and my assistant was advised not to go back to our homes as a precautionary measure, by our Manager. Accommodation arrangements were made for our Self Isolation.
On the third day of Self Isolation, at around 3 pm, I started getting Fever, Headache and was feeling Fatigued. I took a thermometer and tested my temperature and my body temperature was 38.5ยฐC (101.3ยฐ F) at that instance.
There wasn't a single person to assist me or to fetch some water for me. I was too exhausted and it felt like my limbs were paralyzed. Somehow, from the lying posture, I went into half sitting, reached to the land phone and dialed the reception. But I was told that, for safety reasons, they won't be entering the room, instead they'll be keeping the bottle of water in front of my room.
I was so exhausted to move out of my bed to bring the water in. Luckily enough, the Parcetamol tablets were there beside my bed. I took parcetamol tablet without water and I went back to bed, but couldn't fall asleep.

๐ธFever (38.5ยฐ C), Body Ache, Dry Mouth, Headache, Weakness of Arms and Legs.

๐ธFever (38.3ยฐ C), Body Ache, Dry Mouth, Headache, Weakness of Arms and Legs, Coughing, Breathlessness, Loss of Smell and Taste.
๐ธThe dreaded News has arrived "It is Positive" !!"
๐ธMy assistant was also tested Positive, but unlike me, he was less symptomatic. He was also accommodated next to my room, and was the only person who assisted me with getting water and food during those arduous circumstances.

๐ธFever (38.9ยฐ C), Body Ache, Dry Mouth, Headache, Weakness of Arms and Legs, Coughing increased, Breathlessness increased, Loss of Smell and Taste, Unable to eat food, Vomiting Tendency (Nausea)

๐ธFever reduced (36.5ยฐC), but had the other symptoms like Body Ache, Dry Mouth, Headache, Weakness of Arms and Legs, Coughing, Breathlessness.

๐ธSlowly I was able to move out of my bed and I could walk around few steps.
๐ธI went to the toilet, brushed my teeth (after 5 long days ๐ฌ)

๐ธCoughing, Body ache, Breathlessness and Nausea remained while the other symptoms declined.

When I came to know that I have been tested positive for novel coronavirus, I did not lose my heart. Anyway it's pointless to panic and I was determined to fight this battle and therefore kept my willpower high"
I am sharing my story to give people a little bit of hope (the terrifying statistics from the world across, which sometimes results in panic)
