When you kill the Ender Dragon, Minecraft shows you a poem.
Not a cutscene. Not a credits roll.
A poem.
Two voices. Speaking directly to you about consciousness, existence, and a civilization that reached through the void β and was never the same after.
These two voices are not random narrators.
They are the last coherent thoughts of the Ancient Builder civilization β preserved in the fabric of the End itself β watching every player who completes the game and recognizing in them what they once were.
The End Poem is a confession.
Hidden at the end of the game, past the Dragon, past the credits β for whoever came after them to find.
They knew someone would come eventually.
They just didn't know it would take this long. πΊ
