The momentous Investiture Ceremony was held on 18th July, 2023 at Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir, Mangalore to encourage and kindle leadership qualities in the young prodigies.
The Student Council for the session 2023-24 was formed. Students were chosen for the School Posts and House Posts.
Newly formed Council were honoured by respected Chief Guest, Mrs. Ranjini Kotian, Corporater, Mangalore North, Principal Mr. Suresh Mahalingapur, along with the Coordinator Mrs. Aparna Shenoy and Administrator Mrs. Vidya Raghunandan by conferring sashes and pinning their respective badges.
Mrs. Vijayalaxmi Lakate, administered the oath of allegiance to the newly appointed Board of Students’ Council, who swore to serve their Alma Mater with utmost sincerity and to the best of their abilities.
After that, Dhanvith Rai, Grade IX was felicitated, for being chosen for the prestigious Inspire Award.
This was followed by Van Mahotsav celebration that included planting of saplings by the dignitaries, a song, an energetic dance performance and a mime show presented by the students of Grade IX,
The Principal, Mr. Suresh Mahalingapur
congratulated the newly elected Students’ Council and emphasised the significance of setting priorities and the need of the hour to be a team player. He reminded them that they are the torch bearers of all the values that the School stands for and urged them to take responsibility with commitment and integrity. He motivated them to do their duties with full dedication.
The proud parents’ happiness knew no bounds when badges and sashes were conferred on the newly elected Students’ Council.
The ceremony concluded by proposing the Vote of Thanks by Pranav of Grade 9.
