At tough times like these, fake news being circulated on various platforms can do more harm than ever before! These fake news not only create confusion, but also cause panic amongst the masses.

As a preventive measure against this, a team of NITK Alumni and Students are working to spread this message out to the community. So everytime you receive a message, please check if the information in the message is legitimate and further ask others not to share such messages, to break the chain of false news! Forward this to everyone you know, for this is the way to stop the spreading of fake news.

As a precautionary measure against COVID-19, the students of NITK are strictly adviced against travelling and visiting any place with mass gatherings. Also, all conferences, seminars, workshops and any activity with mass gatherings are banned till 31st March.
