At ELC, we strive to provide an enriching and joyful learning environment that nurtures curiosity and creativity among children and aim to support the vision of giving your child the best possible start in life. We are one of the few places in Mangalore that actually live up to being a kindergarten- we have a large children’s garden with flowers, trees, fountains and spaces where children can expl

ore, play and learn unhindered. We have the most extensive Montessori material in Mangalore as well as a special art studio and library. Safety is one of our prime considerations and we provide our own school bus which incorporates seat belts for children,GPS systems and alerts and all other safety features. Parents with long working hours can enroll their children at our day care centre to extend the child’s stay beyond the school’s working hours.

Set up, gather, grind, savour, replace.

The child lays out a mat, places a chowki on it, and covers the surface with an oilcloth. He then brings the mortar and pestle, transfers roasted gram into the mortar, and carefully grinds it. Taking delight in the fruits of his own effort, he enjoys what he has prepared before returning the material and the workspace to their proper places.

This is a Montessori Exercise of Practical Life in action, where an everyday task becomes a lesson in coordination, concentration, and independence.

At ELC, the smallest activities often teach the biggest lessons.

What does it mean to truly understand today’s children?
