Tiny Talent Fiesta Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm
An inter-school cultural competition titled “Tiny Talent Fiesta” was successfully organised at Shree Gujarati English Medium High School on Sunday, 21st December,2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from tiny tots along with their parents, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere.The programme was graced by Mrs Rashmi Kamath coordinator of Amrita vidyalaya Montessori and Mrs Remya Ajay, a post graduate in Montessori course ,who honoured the occasion as the chief guests and judges for the day.The programme was beautifully compered by the tiny tots of the school, including the prayer, showcasing their confidence and stage presence. Mrs Sabitha Kamath Vice Principal introduced the guests.Children from various schools participated with great enthusiasm in the cultural competitions.On this occasion, the Principal, Mrs Ashwini Shenoy, announced an early bird admission offer, which received an encouraging response from parents. President of the programe Mr Sandeep Shah Co-chairman of the education committee encouraged the staff by his presence.The results of the competitions were announced by the coordinator, Mrs Sowmya Shetty, and the winners were honoured with exciting prizes. The programme concluded on a happy note, leaving lasting memories for children and parents alike.

Shree Gujarati English Medium High School – Annual Sports Meet 2025-26 was held on 3rd December 2025 at Mangala Stadium. Our Annual Sports Meet was a day filled with energy, enthusiasm, and unforgettable moments! We were honoured to have Dr. Keshavamurthy, Deputy Director of Physical Education, University College Mangalore, as our Chief Guest. He highlighted the importance of daily exercise and encouraged students to build healthy habits from childhood.The event began with a prayer, followed by a warm welcome from our Principal, Mrs. Ashwini A. Shenoy. The colourful march past by four student groups, the flag hoisting, and the balloon release marked a vibrant start to the day. Student Bhimappa lit the sports torch, and Sports Minister Master Ashok administered the oath. Students with top marks in the 2024-25 academic year were honoured.Shikha T. Karkera (Grade 5) was felicitated for securing 2nd place in the 50m race at the National Children’s Athletic Meet in Bangalore, earning a spot in the National Book of Records, as well as for winning 1st place at the district-level meet. Kumari Bhavana, Kumari Priyanka, and Kumari Pooja Dewasi were awarded by Shri Umiyamataji Seva Trust for securing top scores in the 10th CBSE Board exams.Education Committee Co-person Mr. Sandeep Shah encouraged students to take up at least one sport and praised the teamwork of the teaching and non-teaching staff in making the event successful. Mr. Rajan Baldev, Mr. Kalpesh, Mrs. Sharmila, Mr. Jigar Vadodara, and the President of the Parents-Teachers’ Association, Mrs. Vineetha Udani, were present on stage. The Best Outgoing Students for the academic year were Master A. M. Sinan and Kumari Teerta. The march past was won by the Water Group.The programme was conducted by Mrs. Poornima and hosted by Mrs. Sowmya Shetty. The presence of Education Committee Advisors and school dignitaries added grace to the occasion. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the students’ performances, making the day memorable for all!

The Grade 5 students of Shree Gujarati English Medium High School,Mangaluru conducted a Constitution Day Programme on 26 November 2025 under the guidance of Ms.Roopa Pal and Mr. Premaraj Sir.

The programme began with a prayer, followed by a warm welcome by the student anchors. The Preamble of the Indian Constitution was read by our Vice Principal, Ms.Sabita Kamath, and all students joined in reciting it.

Grade 5 students presented the Thought for the Day, News Headlines, and explained the Significance of Constitution Day. They also performed a short skit on fundamental rights and duties, a group dance, and conducted a quiz competition in which students from Classes 1 to 10 participated. The quiz helped to create awareness about constitutional values among all students.

Our Vice Principal, Ms.Sabita Kamath, also addressed the gathering and appreciated the sincere efforts of the teachers and Grade 5 students in organising the programme confidently and responsibly.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the students.
