The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Mangaluru branch, is organising a program on Sunday 27th June 2021 (11 am to 1 pm) a virtual program, in association with three prestigious associations- FICCI Karnataka State Council, KCCI Mangalore and Atal Incubation Centre, Nitte, on the occasion of International MSME Day.

The topic shall be "Funding options & Schemes & Incentives for MSME’s & Start Ups" and the list of the speakers and panellists are given in the official invite attached. The program is open to all affiliated to MSME’s in any capacity. There will be no registration fees.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Mangaluru branch, has organised "Seminar on Bank Audit" at the 'ICAI Bhawan Auditorium', Padil, Mangaluru, on 19th March 2021(Friday).
Chief Guest Sri.Bal Mukund Sharma, DGM, Canara Bank, inaugurated the program and given the inaugural address. CA.K.Subrahmanya Kamath, Chairman of Mangaluru ICAI welcomed the gathering. CA.Prasanna Shenoy, Secretary of Mangaluru ICAI proposed the Vote of Thanks.

In this Bank Audit Seminar, four eminent Resource Persons from different places shared their knowledge and expertise with the participants.
1. CA.Murali Mohan Bhat, Mangaluru, took the session "New LFAR",
2. CA Anand Prakash Jangid, Bangalore, took the session "Digital Banking and IS Audit",
3. CA.Padmashree, Mumbai, took the Virtual session "Bank Audit Planning and Documentation", and,
4. Dr P Siva Rama Prasad, Hyderabad, took the session "COVID relief and recent RBI Circulars".

Nearly 200 delegates participated in the Bank Audit Seminar, and, all the participants are immensely benefited from the expert lectures by the eminent resource persons.

At the inaugural function, various scholarships awarded to the rank holders and toppers (Mangaluru ICAI jurisdiction - Da Ka Dist and Kasaragod) in recently held CA exams.

The Union Budget 2021 has been announced!!!! What has the Finance Ministry to offer? How are the Direct taxes and Indirect taxes being impacted? And what lies in store for the common man?? To commemorate 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji, and also, to celebrate the birth Anniversary of Lal Bahaddur Shastriji... Mangaluru branch of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (Mangaluru ICAI) organised some activities today Friday, 2nd Oct 2020.

To spread the message of Government’s flagship programme - Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), as a committed partner in nation building, the ICAI has always made sincere efforts to actively participate and support various Government initiatives. ICAI is always keen to take initiatives that can lead to propagation of the fundamental education to every child for a literate and blooming India.

In this endeavour, our Mangaluru ICAI is always committed to undertake such activities in Mangaluru and while supporting Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), today we have distributed stationary kits to the underprivileged students of two primary schools in Mangaluru...

Today's programs :-

1. Supported/Conducted Gandhi Jayanti & Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanthi celebration programs at two Primary schools... Dakshina Kannada Zila Panchayat Higher Primary School, Gandhinagar, Mangaluru, and, Government Higher Primary School, Mannagudda, Mangaluru.
2. Distribution of stationary kits to the underprivileged students of the above two primary schools.
3. Plantation of Saplings in the School Campus.
4. Organised Gandhi Jayanti & Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanthi celebration program at ICAI Bhawan, Mahendra Arcade, Mangaluru.
5. Swami Ekagamyanandaji of Ramakrishna Mutt, Mangaluru, graced the occasion and got honoured from the Mangaluru ICAI towards Ramakrishna Ashram's relentless efforts in the field of Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan.
6. Remembering the two legends - speech by some students on Mahatma Gandhiji & Lal Bahadur Shastriji.
