The second and final leg of the SSV Temple Tour 2024 led us to the beautiful Shri Mookambika Temple, Kollur, where were privileged to submit our performance on 17th July 🙏
We performed “Annapoorani”, “Kanchadalayadakshi”, “Saraswati Namastute”, “Janani Janani”, “Brocheva”, Sivaranjani Thillana in praise of the Mookambika Devi and mantra more. The musical evening brought an end to the temple tour and a music-filled year marked by the hard work, dedication and determination of Guru Devi’s students.

The tour allowed SSV students to challenge themselves and discover new frontiers of their ability. We are very proud of each one of them and wish them all the very best on their musical journey. 🙏

We feel extremely blessed for the gift that the past few days have been 🙏
Amidst torrential rains, the SSV family was fortunate to gather in Udupi for the first leg of the Temple Tour 2024. We performed at the esteemed Rajangana Hall of the Shri Krishna Matha on 16th July 2024, commencing the tribute with “Tatvam Ariya” in Ragam Reethigowlai and concluding with a Thillana in Ragam Kapi.

We are grateful for the people who supported and encouraged us in many ways, without whom this event would not have been possible. We hope to visit this beautiful city and temple once again soon 🙏

அன்று இவ்வுலகம் அளந்தாய் அடிபோற்றி
சென்றங்கு தென்னிலங்கை செற்றாய் திறல்போற்றி
கொன்றடச்சகடம் உதைத்தாய் புகழ் போற்றி
கன்று குணிலா எறிந்தாய் கழல் போற்றி
குன்று குடையாய் எடுத்தாய் குணம் போற்றி
வென்று பகைகெடுக்கும் நின்கையில் வேல் போற்றி
என்றென்றுன் சேவகமே ஏத்திப் பறைகொள்வான்
இன்று யாம் வந்தோம் இரங்கேலோர் எம்பாவாய்.

பொருள்: மகாபலி இந்த உலகத்தை கைப்பற்றிய காலத்தில், அதை மூன்றடிகளால் அளந்து உன்னுடையது என்று உணர்த்தியவனே! உன் திருவடிகளுக்கு வணக்கம். ராமாவதாரம் எடுத்த போது, சீதையை மீட்க தெற்கிலுள்ள இலங்கைக்கு சென்று ராவணனை வெற்றி கொண்டவனே! உன் வீரத்துக்கு நமஸ்காரம். சக்கர வடிவில் வந்த சகடன் எனற அசுரனை ஒரே உதையில் வீழ்த்தியவனே! உன் புகழுக்கு வந்தனம்.கன்று வடிவில் வந்த வத்சாசுரனை தடியாகக் கருதி, அவனை விளாமர வடிவில் வந்த கபித்தாசுரன் மீது எறிந்து அழித்தவனே! உன் கால்களில் அணிந்த வீரக்கழலுக்கு மங்களம் உண்டாகட்டும். கோவர்த்தனகிரியை குடையாக்கி ஆயர்குலத்தவரை இந்திரன் அனுப்பிய மழையில் இருந்து காத்தவனே! உன் இரக்க குணத்துக்கு தலை வணங்குகிறோம்.பகைவர்கள் எவ்வளவு பலவான்களாயினும் அவர்களை உன் கையிலுள்ள வேலால் அழித்தவனே! அந்த வேலாயுதத்துக்கு நமஸ்காரம். உன் வீரச்செயல்களைப் பாடி, உன்னருளைப் பெறுவதற்கு, இப்போது நாங்கள் வந்துள்ளோம். எங்கள் மீது இரக்கம் காட்ட வேண்டுகிறோம்.
