📜The students of BIS celebrated Community Helpers with great enthusiasm and excitement.
👮‍♀️A special activity on Community Helpers was conducted for the students.
👷‍♀️The children learned about different people who help us in our daily lives, such as doctors, nurses, teachers, police officers, firefighters, farmers, drivers, and sanitation workers.
👨‍⚕️The students enjoyed discussing the important roles and responsibilities of each community helper.
👩‍🌾They also participated enthusiastically in identifying their uniforms, tools, and workplaces.
👨‍🏫The activity helped the students understand the importance of community helpers and taught them to respect, appreciate, and be thankful for their valuable services.
👩‍🚒The activity was informative, enjoyable, and meaningful for all the students.

Theme: *Celebrating festivals, culture and gratitude*

🌟 The assembly on *“Celebrating festival, Culture and Gratitude”* was conducted on 21st August 2026. The programme was anchored by *Miha Shabana Zaheer* and began with a beautiful recitation of the *Azkar* , followed by *Surah Al-Kahf* recited by *Khadeejah Noora*

📖 *Muadh Abdul Rahman* presented the Hadith of the Day, *M. Arsh Basheer* read the news, and *Sajwa Fathima* presented the Thought for the Day.

🇮🇳The highlight of the role play narrated by *M. Eshan Yusuf* was on the importance of festivals and how they bring people together, followed by students representing different Festivals and cultures of India.

🌸Students also expressed what they are grateful for through " *Thank You"* messages.

💬 The assembly concluded with valuable feedback from Coordinator of the Preparatory Section.

✨ The assembly was joyful, meaningful and patriotic, reminding everyone to respect diversity, celebrate togetherness, and practice gratitude every day.

Our kindergarten enjoyed Handy Painting Activity with great enthusiasm. The purpose of the activity was

🎨 To develop creativity and fine motor skills in children.
🎨 To make learning fun through art and craft.
🎨 The day began with a short talk about hand printing.
🎨 Children participated in hand printing activity with excitement.
🎨 Children enjoyed this activity by making use of their hands and paint to make prints.
🎨 The Handy Painting activity was fun, educational, and inspiring.
🎨 It encouraged the children to express their imagination freely.

Together We Nurture Young Minds | Kindergarten Mothers’ Training Session 2026

Barakah International School & College hosted a meaningful Kindergarten Mothers’ Training Session aimed at strengthening the partnership between parents and the school.

The session focused on helping mothers better understand the learning needs of young children and supporting their development during the important foundation years.

The programme included valuable sessions on Phonics & Letters, Islamic Studies and Qaida, along with practical guidance and meaningful interactions.

📚 The Science activity was conducted for *Grade 3A* at BIS to help students learn about the parts of a leaf and the diversity of leaves through hands-on learning.

The assembly started with Adhkar 🤲 and Hadees, followed by the thought 🗯️ for the day.

Students presented different festivals that we celebrate in India and spoke a few lines about festivals, such as National and Religious festivals.

The assembly concluded with the Vice Principal’s inspiring words and the school song, leaving the message: “Festivals bring people together and fill our hearts with joy.” 🤩
