The Training, Internship and Placement Cell of Canara College (Autonomous) successfully organized a session titled “Smart Resume Building – Using AI to Outsmart ATS” for final year BBA and B.Com students. The session was conducted on April 25, 2026, at 11:30 AM in Lecture Hall 21.
The resource person for the session was Mrs. Shwetha Pai, Lecturer at the Centre for PG Studies in Commerce, Canara College (Autonomous).
The primary objective of the session was to equip students with modern resume-building techniques, focusing on the use of Artificial Intelligence tools and strategies to effectively navigate Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). The session emphasized creating impactful resumes aligned with industry expectations and improving employability skills.
Mrs. Shwetha Pai shared valuable insights, practical tips, and real-world examples that helped students understand how to optimize their resumes for better visibility and selection chances. 45 students actively participated in the session.
