At The House of Montessori, sustained communications will take place by phone, e-mail, and at pick up and drop off. Twice a year, parents will be invited for parent-teacher conferences. The "prepared environment" is Maria Montessori's concept that the environment can be designed to facilitate maximum independent learning and exploration by the child. At The House of Montessori our classroom environments are meticilously planned where the children work on activities of their own choice at their own pace. They experience a blend of freedom and self-discipline in a place especially designed to meet their developmental needs.

It’s a wrap! 🎉
Another year done and dusted… and oh, what a ride it’s been! Completely drained us (we teachers are officially running on empty 😄), but also made our hearts do the happiest little dance every single day.

We are so incredibly proud of our little humans — especially the ones who are now off to Grade 1.
To the rest of our little humans— we can’t wait to welcome you back and do it all over again!
And to our wonderful parents, thank you for your constant support, trust, and partnership. We truly couldn’t have done it without you. Happy holidays!!

Emma’s parents brought so much joy to our classroom with their delightful puppet show of ‘The Three Little Pigs’. The children were completely engaged, laughing and watching in wonder. The fun song session that followed had everyone singing along happily. Thank you for making it such a special and memorable experience for the kids!
