Parijnan Vidyalay, Someshwar, celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with great pride, patriotism and enthusiasm on 15th August 2026.
The celebration was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Mahesh L. Bondal, Treasurer, Saraswat Education Society, along with members of the Anandashram Old Students’ Association, PTA members, the Principals of all three institutions, teaching and non-teaching staff, and our dear students.
The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Chief Guest, followed by the Welcome Address, a soulful Patriotic Song presented by our students, and the Vote of Thanks.
The celebration beautifully reflected our love for the nation and reminded us of our responsibility to uphold the values of unity, freedom and patriotism.

On 14 August 2026, PARIJNAN VIDYALAY, SOMESHWAR had the opportunity to be part of an insightful National Flag Awareness Programme conducted by Hindu Jagarana Vedike.
The programme created awareness among our students about the right usage, dignity and respect of our National Flag 🇮🇳 and reminded us that the Tricolour is a symbol of our nation’s pride, unity and freedom.
A meaningful learning experience as we celebrate the spirit of Independence Day. 🇮🇳✨

Parijnan Vidyalay proudly hosted the inauguration of the National Student Paryavaran Competition (NSPC) 2026 under the Eco Club, with the support of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and the Ministry of Education, Government of India. 🌱
The programme aimed to create awareness among students about environmental protection and encourage them to take an active role in building a greener and healthier future.
During the programme, our students were encouraged to participate in the NSPC Online Quiz Competition, providing them with an opportunity to enhance their knowledge about the environment and develop a sense of responsibility towards nature. 🌍💚
We encourage all our students to participate enthusiastically in the online quiz and become young ambassadors for environmental awareness.

Parijnan Vidyalay, Someshwar successfully conducted the culmination of Swadeshi Sapthaha and Heritage Fest on 31-07-2026. The event, themed "Be Indian, Buy Indian, Preserve Our Heritage," celebrated India's rich cultural heritage and the spirit of the Swadeshi Movement.

Students from Classes I to IX enthusiastically participated in various competitions organised by the Class X students under the guidance of their teachers. The Heritage Fest featured attractive exhibits of historical monuments, traditional artefacts, handicrafts, and indigenous products. Our respected Principal Ma'am appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers and encouraged everyone to preserve our heritage and support Swadeshi products. The programme concluded with "Vande Mataram" by the Class X students and a heartfelt vote of thanks.

The celebration inspired students to cherish India's heritage and contribute towards building a self-reliant nation.

🌸 Guru Purnima Celebration at Parijnan Vidyalay, Someshwar 🌸

Guru Purnima is a sacred occasion to express our gratitude and respect towards our Gurus, who guide us on the path of knowledge, wisdom, and values.

Parijnan Vidyalay, Someshwar, celebrated Guru Purnima on 29-7-2026 with devotion and reverence in the school auditorium in the presence of Principal, Teachers and students.The programme, beautifully organised and presented by the students of Class V, was a heartfelt tribute to their Gurus.

The celebration commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by our Honourable Principal, Mrs. Ranjitha Mahesh Joshi Ma'am, followed by a floral tribute to the Guru, H.H. Shrimat Parijnanashram Swamiji.

The students presented an inspiring speech on the significance of Guru Purnima, a soulful Guru Vandana, a graceful dance, and a captivating Ekalavya dance drama, highlighting the values of devotion, dedication, and respect for one's Guru.

The programme concluded with the Principal's address and the Vote of Thanks, leaving everyone inspired by the timeless message that a true Guru lights the path from knowledge to wisdom.

Kargil Vijay Diwas is observed to commemorate India’s victory in the Kargil War and to honour the courage, sacrifice and dedication of our brave soldiers. It is a day to remember and pay tribute to the heroes who safeguarded the nation with unwavering bravery.
Parijnan Vidyalay, Someshwar observed Kargil Vijay Diwas on 28-8-2026 with pride and patriotism in the school auditorium. The programme was presented by the students of Class VII to honour the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
The celebration began with the lighting of the lamp by our Honourable Principal, Mrs. Ranjitha Mahesh Joshi Ma’am, followed by a floral tribute to Bharat Mata and our courageous soldiers.
Students presented inspiring programmes including the importance of the day, introduction to brave soldiers, patriotic singing, classical dance, patriotic dance and a skit highlighting the valour and dedication of our armed forces.
The programme concluded with the Principal’s address and Vote of Thanks, leaving everyone with a deep sense of respect and gratitude towards our heroes.
