Major Dr. Leena Saikia, retired ANO of 73 Assam Girl's NCC, Tezpur, Mangaldai College was felicitated by respected CO Sir of 73 Assam Girl's (i) Coy , NCC, Tezpur on 17th May, 2023. She was thanked for her selfless service with a plaque. We wish her a great post retirement life ahead.She was also handed over the DG NCC commendation certificate by CO Sir.

Cadets of Mangaldai College,73 Assam Girls (I)Coy NCC ,have participated in the March past, Road Band conducted by Darrang Police on the occasion of 400th Birthday of Lachit Barphukan on 18th November...

The girl cadets of Mangaldai college along with ANO Major(Dr) Leena Saikia under 73 Assam Girls (I) Coy NCC, Tezpur have visited Mangaldai Sadar Police Station on 14th November 2022 and interected with the police personnel. They visited different section of the police station led by OC Mr. Mukut Kakoti . He explained the procedure of writing FIR or other responsibility of police station and also showed different branches such as lock up , General branch Wireless and Networking , Crime department and Woman Cell. He was felicitated by senior cadet with a gamosa and ANO has thanked him and his associates on behalf of all cadets Mangaldai College.

Visited to old age home, Kartik Chandra Baruah Memorial Old Age Home by cdts of 73 Assam Girl's (I) Coy NCC, Tezpur with their ANO, Major Dr. Leena Saikia.
It was a nice time.
offered juice, fruits, biscuits and also spent with little amusement.
As 5th Nov is Death anniversary of our beloved Dr Bhupen Hazarika, we sang his one song, manuhe manuhor babe,,.Some of them also sang and danced along with us.
The old aged Koka and Aitaas also prayed God for us.
We really feel happy and have given word to meet them again.

DG NCC Commendation card has been conferred to Major.Dr. Leena Saikia .ANO.73 Assam Girls (I)Coy,NCC Tezpur. Associate professor , Mangaldai College on 25 th Aug,2022. by DG NCC Lt. General Gurbirpal Singh, AVSM, VSM in NER Directorate, Shillong in presence of ADG Major General Bhaskar Kalita,YSM.,Group Commander Brig.S.S Gill and other Officers. Major Dr. Saikia also got Plaque from DGNCC in 2021.

A microforest is started at Mangaldai College campus with the help of Assam Science Society yesterday.

Today 36 Girls NCC cadets planted 36 plant under the guidance of ANO Dr(Maj)Leena Saikia ma'am.

19 Girl Cadets of Mangaldai College out of 22 have passed NCC 'C' exam of this year with flying colors.
8 cadets have passed with A grade.

Hope in future they all will shine like sunshine as usual.

It is an initiative taken by NCC Girls Cadet of 73 Assam and few professors of Mangaldai College in the distribution of material for the flood affected communities of Mangaldai. The ANO has herself utilised her honorarium of the month and the cadets have collected a certain amont of money to contribute from their side.
The exact locations of rhe distribution of the items were in Saktula Mathauri relief camp, Pachim Rangamati H.S relief camp, Punia relief camp.
