Recently a new analysis has been published in Nature which says that apart from the up and down quarks, protons contain intrinsic charm quarks too. Juan Rojo at Vrije University Amsterdam and his colleagues used a machine learning model to get the hypothetical proton structures.
Do protons contain intrinsic charm quarks too? - eduvigyan.com A nucleus is made up of protons and neutrons. Initially, these particles were thought to be indivisible. Scientists did many experiments in past to know more about them.
