👆🏼On the occasion of National Librarians Day in memory of Dr.S.R.Ranganathan, father of library science in India.
Shri Sukumar Debnath, our ex librarian who contributed to the growth of our library was given a heartwarming felicitation and formal farewell today.
On the same holy occasion, a book donation drive was inaugurated by Narayan Chandra Bharali Library (West Guwahati Commerce College) in collaboration with Book Club( under the aegis of Dept of English). The entire West Guwahati Commerce College fraternity participated in the auspicious occasion.

To make this day a grand succes, all the family fraternity contributed to the best of their extent.
32nd College Foundation Day was observed with great enthusiasm in our college on 10th August, 2023.
The program was anchored by Dr. Prateeksha Barman and started with a lamp lightning ceremony by the dignitaries who blessed us with their wishes.
Apart from this, we had the chance to hear from the co-founder and founder teacher members of the college, Mr. Adhir Das, Mr. Samindra Hujuri and Dr. Jyotish Goswami ( current G.B President, West Guwahti Commerce College).
Then the event was successfully concluded with a Vote of Thanks from Mrs. Sanchita Choudhury.

International Yoga Day

On June 21st, 2023, West Guwahati Commerce College celebrated the 9th International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm. The celebration began with a yoga session conducted by a professional yoga instructor cm college faculty Ms. Manashi Bhattacharjee. The celebration concluded with a token of appreciation presented to the estemmed faculty member Miss. Manashi Bhattacharjee.

Bishnu Rabha Divas

West Guwahati Commerce College has observed the "Rabha Divas" on 20th June, 2023 organized by the Department of English, MIL, IQAC in collaboration with Alumni Association. The program was started by lightening the lamp in front of the picture of Bishnu Prasad Rabha and offering homage to him.

A chorus song "Bisho Bijoy" by Bishnu Rabha Prasad was performed by the students. Along with the students, solo song performed by Dr. Namita Sarma faculty of Economics Department, poem recited by Dr. Raktima Hujuri, HOD English Department and Kamal Kalita, Alumni Association. The whole programme was equally hosted by Dr. Namita Sarma faculty of Economics Department and Kamal Kalita, Alumni. The event was successfully concluded with a Vote of Thanks from Dr. Raktima Hujuri.
