INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS
On the momentous occasion of 70th anniversary of independence of the country and 75th anniversary of quit India movement, we, BHARATIYA VIDYA BHAVAN ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL, THIRUNNAVAYA celebrated it in a festive and patriotic mood. We integrated the following activities in our curriculum transaction:
1. A pledge taking ceremony was organized in the school assembly on 14th august. On 15th august tri color flag was hoisted and various programmes like patriotic song s, dances, speeches and drama were organized. A flag formation was also created by our kg students.
2. A Quiz programmes was conducted on the theme of independence movement. Our 8th and 9th standard students participated and prizes were awarded to the winners.
3. Painting competition was conducted for the students of classes 6th to 10th.Prizes were awarded to the winners.
