K M G V H S S TAVANUR was established in 1960 and it is managed by the Department of Education. It is located in Tavanur, Edappal Block and Malappuram District.

Kelappaji Memorial Vocational Higher Secondary School, Tavanur, had its simple origin as Sarvodayapuram Post Basic School, started by late Sarvodaya Leader Sri. K. Kelappan in 1960. Sri. I.
