This is the first English medium school in Mahuva city started in 1985 by Fr.Ignatius cmi.He had a dream .of starting a school with a defference, a school that would stand out from other schools in quality, aiming at excellence in every field. A school that would be co-educational, where boys and girls will grow up together as brothers and sisters, in healthy and wholesome relationship, without any prejudices or inhibition, this school would really become a second home to children. Where teachers and students meet, mingle, with true family spirit. A dream that this school would not be satisfied with just lesson teaching and test taking but would really strive for the all-round development of the personality of the children providing ample opportunities for the same. So he came to this beautiful land in 1985 and started Saint Thomas school
With two K.G. classes and two primary classes with a total of 168 students. handed over by shri.Mahuva Kelavni sahayak samaj. It was a small plan in 1985.Now it is going to celebrate its silver jubilee next year. and it has become one of the leading English medium schools not only in Bhavnagar district but also in Gujarat state with an out standing performance both in curricular and extra curricular activities.
