On the occasion of Maharashtra day today i.e. 1st of May 2023, the honour of hoisting the national flag was given to our senior peon Mrs.Suparna Jadhav at St.xavier's school Mahad-Raigad . Such honour is mostly given to the most distinguished and esteemed people in the society but our Chairman Mr.Dsouza firmly believes that our peons and workers should also be respected as dignified people. They are sincere , hardworking and dedicated people who deserve a respectful treatment.
Since last 5 years the privilege of hoisting the National flag on the Republic day is given to the teachers of our institution and now a new precedent is being set by honouring our non-teaching staff like peons and drivers by giving them the privelege of hoisting the National flag on 1st May i.e. Maharashtra day every year henceforth. This very act is bound to fill the hearts of our non-teaching staff with great pride and joy as they will be bestowed with the respect they deserve. And with this unprecedented deed our Chairman Mr. Johnson Dsouza has a set a new example before our students to treat every individual no matter how big or small with respect and dignity.
