Children’s Day at Sri Aurobindo Mira Universal School was a vibrant and joy-filled celebration, dedicated to the laughter and spirit of our young learners ✨. The day began with a warm and heartfelt welcome as teachers and admin greeted students with two exciting surprises — a giant polar bear 🐻‍❄️ and an impressive Terminator mascot 🤖, instantly filling the campus with excitement.

Students received colourful bookmarks 📚 adorned with inspiring messages, while teachers and admin proudly wore badges and roses 🌹 as symbols of their joy in honouring this special occasion.

The campus buzzed with enthusiasm as spirited class-wise games 🎯 brought laughter and cheerful competition to every corner. Music added to the festive mood, with a lively DJ session 🎵 that filled the grounds with dance, energy, and pure delight — a moment where every child felt free, joyful, and full of life ✨.

A cheerful potluck lunch 🍱 created a sense of togetherness as students shared their favourite dishes with classmates, strengthening friendships and filling the day with warmth.

The celebrations grew richer with a series of lively performances and joyful acts 💫. Teachers lit up the stage with energetic dances 💃, humorous meme presentations 😄, and a captivating juggler’s show 🤹 that kept students thrilled and engaged.

The day concluded with radiant smiles, warm hugs, and memories that will remain in every child’s heart for years to come.

The Future Begins Today – a phrase that rang true at Sri Aurobindo Mira Universal School on 14th November as the school came alive with the spirit of Children’s Day! Today, the future leaders and visionaries of tomorrow were celebrated in a day packed with joy, learning, and unforgettable memories. Here’s a glimpse into the magic-filled day!

The day began with excitement as children entered the school to a vibrant, cheerful atmosphere. Welcomed by “Chacha Nehru” himself (our very own teacher dressed as Nehru), every child was greeted with a warm smile and a “Happy Children’s Day!” Teachers from all grades donned colorful animal masks, transforming the front office into a delightful jungle of friendly animals. The sight filled the students’ hearts with joy, setting a playful and lively tone for the celebration.

🎬 Learning Through Stories, Songs, and Rhymes 🎶
In special slots for each grade, children experienced engaging sessions filled with stories, rhymes, and videos that highlighted the importance of Children’s Day and celebrated their uniqueness. Teachers guided students through quizzes that not only tested their knowledge but also sparked curiosity and inspiration. These sessions were designed to impart valuable insights about children’s rights, responsibilities, and the role they can play as future leaders.

🎉 DJ Party Delight 🕺💃
Next up was the DJ party! Each grade enjoyed its own dance slot, where students let loose and danced with their friends and teachers. Laughter, music, and the thrill of dancing filled the atmosphere with pure joy. Teachers joined in, making the dance floor a vibrant mix of energetic students and equally enthusiastic teachers! Adding extra excitement to the dance floor were two huge mascots, Hulk and Gorillas, who staged a playful fight during the DJ party, leaving students thrilled and cheering for more!

Adding to the day’s festivities, parents sent an assortment of delicious dishes, showcasing the love and care poured into preparing mouthwatering food for the children.

A standout moment was the solo performance by a Junior School student, whose serene face bore an uncanny resemblance to the Amman idol, radiating divine presence and filling the audience with awe ✨🙏. The transition of Goddess Durga from her fierce Rudra avatar to her calm Shanta form was depicted in a scintillating manner, leaving the audience in awe 💫🔥.
