Solamalai Institutions hosted the InGage Cyber Security Essentials Hackathon – 2026 under the Naan Mudhalvan initiative, providing students with a dynamic platform to explore real-world cyber security challenges.

Solamalai Institutions marked a significant milestone with the grand inauguration of the new Seminar Hall at the VOC Block on 24 February 2026.

The ceremony commenced with the screen unveiling by Chairman Mr. V.S.P. Solamalai Pitchai, followed by the ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the esteemed Chief Guest Dr. Sheela Ramachandran, Chief Advisor.

The event began with a warm welcome address delivered by Dr. N. Suthanthiravanitha, Principal, Solamalai College of Engineering. Felicitation addresses were presented by Mr. S.P. Aravind and Mr. S.P. Anand, Executive Directors, who highlighted the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and infrastructure development.
