The installation ceremony of our school Interact club took place on 12/08/2025, Tuesday. The event was graced by the benevolent presence of Rotarians from the Rotary club of Madurai Town Down. The newly elected members of the Interact Club were presented with the collar and collar pins by the President of Rotary Club.

Our 60th Annual Sports Meet was held on 05.08.2025. The event was a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship and teamwork, with students from all grades participating in various track and field events. The winners were awarded with medals and certificates.
The chief guest for the day was Mr. J. Ranjith Kumar the Dayan Chand Awardee and International Para Athlete and Mr. N. Narayanan, the Founder of Madurai Taekwondo Academy was the Guest of Honor. The day was a memorable celebration of teamwork, perseverance, and healthy competition.

Acting upon the call made by PM Modiji, to encourage the interest of the students in Science and innovative lab activities. CSIR - CECRI invited the students to visit their lab. 13 students from our school actively participated in the program.

The 123rd birthday of our former chief minister of Tamil Nadu and the Kingmaker Kamarajar's birthday was celebrated in our school on 15.07.2025. The students of classes VI - IX participated and held the day in a great manner.

Historic Achievement by Rotary Laharry Higher Secondary School Student
In the National School Games Federation’s inter-state badminton competition for under-19 girls, held in Narmadapur, Madhya Pradesh, from November 17 to 21, 2024, Madurai Rotary Laharry Higher Secondary School student S. Kamalika Ramani, representing Tamil Nadu, won the gold medal in the girls' singles category. This remarkable victory marks a significant milestone, as Tamil Nadu has clinched this title after many years. The Tamil Nadu team secured the fourth position at the national level. This outstanding achievement by the student has brought immense pride, not only to Tamil Nadu but also to the city of Madurai.
