Greetings from Idhayam!
On 16 th June ,a golden time was given to Idhayamites from Young Indians Parliament!
Future Indian voices was raised by our students, who enacted the role of ministers in the Parliament.
Due to the stunning support of YIP , we got the two jubilant trainers, Sornambiga ma'am and Jeyachandra ma'am who engaged the students to impart parliament skills.
They taught about the parliamentary proceedings. Students were trained to perform various activities, related to sessions and passing the bills.
Debates made them feel delighted and energetic to raise our their ideas for the future nation.
Role of the Speaker, ruling and opposition party in drafting and passing the bills training was amazing.

*Success is not about managing time; it is about managing priorities.*

An enriching and interactive session on *GENESIS 3.0 – Powering Up Your Study Skills* was conducted on 13.06.2026 at the Lekha Rathnakumar Indoor Auditorium (A/C Hall) for the students of Std X and XII. The session was facilitated by *Dr. S. Dharani, M.Sc., PGD., Ph.D., Psychological Counsellor,* who provided students with practical techniques to enhance their learning abilities and academic performance.

The programme highlighted the *SQ3R Technique—Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review,* enabling students to improve comprehension, retention, and recall through systematic study, active reading, questioning, and regular review. The session also stressed the importance of active learning, effective note-taking, and practice testing as essential strategies for academic success. Through interactive discussions and examples, students learned how these methods make learning more effective and engaging.
A presentation on the *Urgent–Important Matrix* helped students understand the value of prioritizing tasks, distinguishing between urgent and important activities, and enhancing productivity, decision-making, and stress management.

*"Every child begins their learning journey with a* *small step, and every small step leads* *to a world of endless possibilities."*

On *June 8th* our little learners had a joyful and memorable first day of school. With bright smiles, curious minds, and the loving support of their parents, they took their first steps into a world of learning and discovery.
A reception by the school band added a festive touch to the occasion and created a cheerful atmosphere. Following the welcome programme, the parents and children were escorted to their respective classrooms by the class teachers.
While a few little ones expressed their emotions through tears, many others displayed curiosity, excitement, and cheerful smiles. The teachers lovingly comforted and guided them, helping them feel safe and secure.
The young learners enthusiastically participated in interactive activities that helped them become familiar with their new classroom environment, teachers, and friends.
*"Today’s smiles, discoveries, and experiences are the first* *pages of a beautiful story of* *learning, growth, and success."*
