🇮🇳 *80th INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION – 2026* 🇮🇳

Idhayam Rajendran School celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm on *15th August 2026.*

The celebration began with the soulful rendition of Tamil Thai Vaazhthu, followed by the hoisting of the National Flag by our *Chairman, Mr. E. Arularasu, MBA.* The flag-hoisting ceremony filled the campus with a deep sense of pride and patriotism.

The March Past by our students showcased their discipline, unity, coordination and confidence. This was followed by an inspiring speech by our Chairman, who shared meaningful thoughts on this year’s theme, *“Yuva Shakti for Viksit Bharat @ 2047,”* highlighting the strength, potential and responsibility of the youth in shaping the future of our nation and honouring *150 years of Vande Mataram.*

The celebrations continued with a vibrant cultural programme, reflecting the rich heritage, unity and patriotic spirit of India.

The programme concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of pride, gratitude and love for our motherland.

*Educational Visit Report*

*​"Justice delayed is justice denied, and an innocent person must never be punished."*

​On 13th August, 2026, the students of grade 12 of Idhayam Rajendran School, Madurai, undertook an insightful educational visit to the District Court Complex in Madurai, where they were guided by Panel A Advocate Mrs. Vidya and Panel B Advocate Mr. Umashankar. The session provided students with a comprehensive understanding of how the Indian Constitution serves as the ultimate system defining powers, maintaining social order, and curbing violence through statutory provisions like the IPC. The advocates highlighted the importance of decorum both inside the courtroom and in everyday life, explaining that rules govern all public spaces, including markets. Through an overview of District and Magistrate courts, the students explored various specialized judicial forums, including Family, Labour, CBI, NDPS (Drug), Women-Related Offense, and Juvenile Justice courts. Emphasizing essential legal principles such as the presumption of innocence, the peril of delayed justice, and the spirit of social service (Sevai Manappanmai), the visit successfully bridged theoretical civics with the practical workings of the legal system, inspiring the students to be law-abiding and responsible citizens.
