Madhusthali Vidyapeeth celebrated National Space Day across all sections with enthusiasm through a variety of age-appropriate and engaging activities.

Students of Nursery to Class II participated in colouring, drawing, clay modelling, building-block activities, quizzes and a planet-themed skit.

Classes III to V enjoyed educational movie screenings of Mission Mangal and Interstellar, which encouraged curiosity about space, science and exploration.

Students of Classes VI to VIII participated in a creative Space Model Making Activity, preparing models related to planets, the solar system and space missions.

Classes IX to XII attended informative presentations and educational videos on space exploration and India’s achievements in space science, followed by an interactive quiz.

The celebration promoted scientific curiosity, creativity, teamwork, innovation and a deeper understanding of space and India’s contribution to space exploration. The activities were successfully conducted with the support of the Management Team, Administrator Sir, IT Coordinator, Class Teachers and Mr. Soubhik Roy, Computer Teacher, who provided valuable technical support.

Madhusthali Vidyapeeth celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India on 15th August 2026 with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. The celebration was attended by the students and staff of Madhusthali Vidyapeeth and the other units of the campus.

The programme commenced with the arrival and ceremonial es**rt of the Chief Guest, Mr. Jiban Kumar Roy, State Training Commissioner (Scouts), Eastern Railway, by the School Band, followed by his introduction and felicitation. The Guest of Honour, Shri Jitendra Paswan, Eastern Railway State Training Park, Madhupur, also graced the occasion.

The National Flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest, followed by the National Anthem. This was followed by an impressive March Past presented by the School Parade Team, the four Housesβ€”Aravalli, Nilgiri, Shivalik and Vindhyaβ€”and the School Band.

The cultural programme included patriotic group songs, speeches and a vibrant dance performance presented by students of the different units. The performances reflected the students’ talent, dedication and deep sense of patriotism and received enthusiastic appreciation from the gathering.

The Chief Guest addressed the students and appreciated their performances, discipline and spirit of nationalism. The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by the Headmistress of Madhusthali Vidyapeeth.

The celebration ended on a proud and patriotic note, leaving everyone inspired by the values of freedom, unity and responsibility towards the nation. The school extends its sincere gratitude to the Management, Heads of all Units, staff, students, parents and participants for their valuable support in making the celebration a success.

On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day , a special assembly was organized for the pre-primary section. First, the school prayer was conducted by the Pre-Primary Coordinator, Ms Shabnam and Junior Activity Coordinator, Ms Montina.Following this, Ms Sonia J. Prasad delivered a short speech on Independence Day. She explained to the children the importance of freedom and how to maintain both our freedom and unity.
Additionally, the children performed a short dance. They made the occasion even more beautiful by presenting crafts made with their own hands. The children participated in this assembly with great enthusiasm.

On August 8, 2026 Saturday, a grand English Recitation Competition was organised at our school for the students of the Pre-Primary and Junior Section. The children participated with immense zeal, enthusiasm and confidence . The event was successfully conducted into two separate shifts.
The program commenced gracefully under the guidance of our respected Headmistress Ma'am. The stage was lively and beautifully managed by Ms Puja Tungaria. Ms Sikha and Ms Rubi served as the honorable judges for the first shift and the young ones captivated everyone with their sweet voices and beautiful poem recitations.
In the second shift , Junior Section class 3 to 5 was conducted as a housewise competition, showcasing great team spirit and talent. Miss Shabnam and Ms Montina evaluated the performances as the esteemed judges.
The event was a huge success. The confidence and expressive delivery of the young poets won the hearts of all the teachers from attendees.

On 3rd August 2026, the Madhusthali Scouts, Guides, Cubs, and Bulbuls organized a service camp at Dubey Baba Temple, Bamangama, Sarath. The students distributed orange juice to Lord Shiva's devotees, offering refreshment and care during the annual worship festival.

The initiative was appreciated by the devotees and the Puja Committee, who praised the students' spirit of service and dedication. The camp was conducted under the guidance of Scout Master Mr. Suraj Bose, Cub Master Mr. Vijay Kumar, and Asst Teacher Ms. Aditi Goswami, with the support of the school staff.

Our Pre-Primary tiny tots turned a gloomy Saturday into a vibrant paradise today, 01st August, during our special Rainy Day Fun Activity ! Armed with their bright, colourful umbrellas and adorable raincoats, the little ones stepped out to welcome the monsoon showers with open arms. β€œRainy Day is always a fun time for the kids if it is celebrated in the school,” making the learning environment light and joyful.
Teachers and students danced to rain rhymes, splashed safely in the courtyard, and shared countless giggles. It was an unforgettable morning of pure bliss, bonding, and beautiful memories!

Madhusthali Vidyapeeth successfully organised the Inter-House Hindi Elocution and English Debate Competition 2026 on 1st August 2026, providing students with an excellent platform to showcase their oratory skills, confidence, critical thinking and command over language.

The programme commenced with a Welcome Address by Ms Priya Bharti, who welcomed the dignitaries, judges, teachers, and participants. This was followed by the Felicitation of the Judges by the CEO Sir, who also addressed the gathering with inspiring words.

The competitions were conducted in three categories:
β€’ Middle Section Hindi Elocution
β€’ Senior Section Hindi Elocution
β€’ Senior Section English Debate

The participants impressed the audience with their articulate speeches, persuasive arguments, and confident stage presence. The English debate, in particular, showcased the students' analytical thinking, logical reasoning and ability to present well-balanced arguments on contemporary issues.

At the conclusion of the competitions, Mr Kamal Kumar Mandal, one of the esteemed judges, addressed the participants. He appreciated the overall standard of performances and encouraged the students to continue reading extensively, thinking critically and speaking with clarity and confidence.

The prize distribution ceremony recognised the outstanding performers. The prizes for the Middle Section Hindi Elocution were presented by Ms Priya Kumari, while the Headmistress Ma'am felicitated the winners of the Senior Section Hindi Elocution. The prizes for the Senior Section English Debate were presented by Mr Kamal Kumar Mandal.

Madhusthali Vidyapeeth proudly hosted the prestigious CISCE Zonal Taekwondo Tournament 2026 on its campus on 28th August, bringing together young martial artists from across the region for an inspiring display of speed, technique, discipline and martial spirit.

Madhusthali Vidyapeeth delivered a power-packed performance on the mat, dominating several divisions and securing an impressive haul of medals across both the girls' and boys' events.
