The department of Physiotherapy in Arpana Hospital celebrated “World Physiotherapy Day” on September 08, 2022. All the Doctors and Arpana staff graced the occasion and encouraged the fraternity.

Guest Physiotherapists explained various musculoskeletal and lifestyle diseases, the Role of physiotherapists in these diseases and the scope of rehabilitation.
The occasion ended with the get-together along with the refreshment.

Free medical camps are set up on a monthly basis at Arpana Hospital, Madhuban, to help make primary healthcare accessible for rural folk who have no access to basic healthcare services or knowledge about the diseases they are suffering from.

The September camp at Arpana Hospital provided free consultation by Doctors along with 15% off on ultrasound lab tests, X-rays, and medicines.

On 13th and 14th August, awareness rallies for a Drug-Free India, organized by Arpana’s team and the District Administration, were held for Arpana’s Self Help Group women in village Amritpur Kalan and for the Differently Abled Organisations in village Baragaon.
Proudly flying the Indian flag, hundreds of Arpana’s self-help group women initiated the “Drug-free India” campaign, joined by their children and menfolk, along with crowds of villagers who also pledged to cooperate in the campaign.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Satyawan Dhillon, District Social Welfare Officer, explained the tragic effects of addiction on the human body and how detrimental these are to the country and society.

69-year-old Om Prakash was a potter in Unchha Samana Village and is now living on his pension. For the past six months he had abdominal pain, but he bore it stoically until the pains became agonizing.

𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟏𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏: His son brought him to the Arpana Hospital camp on 10 July 2022 and he was diagnosed with Hernia. He was admitted and on 14th July his operation of Hernia was performed. Due to his poor economic condition, Arpana paid 75% of his bill.
At the time of discharge Om Prakash said, “𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒂 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒃𝒚 𝑨𝒓𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒂.”

𝘼 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙆𝙖𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙩!
Karsh*t’s husband is a drug addict and does not do any work. They previously had had an 18-month-old daughter who died of pneumonia. After the baby’s death, her in-laws kicked her out of their house even though she was 3 months pregnant.

Thus, Karsh*t’s second pregnancy was in her father’s home in village Mahilpur. She had a full-term pregnancy but when she felt pain, there was no one at home, not even her father. Her neighbors brought her to Arpana Hospital.

Arpana’s gynecologist checked her on an emergency basis. A Caesarian was required which she could not afford. But she was happy to know that Arpana would subsidize her surgery. By god’s grace, she delivered a healthy baby boy by Caesarian that evening, weighing 2.79 kg.

Karsh*t said they came to Arpana Hospital for the first time. She was very happy and thanked the doctors and the staff for the care and treatment she had received. Her family was very grateful to Arpana and the doctors for saving Karsh*t and their child.

Arpana Hospital organized a free dental check-up and awareness camp on 30th July 2022 at Mount Litra Zee School, Madhuban, Karnal, for the school children.
This camp was conducted by Arpana Hospital’s professionals from the dental fraternity- Dr. Queency Sharma and Dr. Joginder Panwar. Our experts also guided the patients about the food intake and daily routine they should follow to prevent dental disorders. A total of 357 patients were examined.

𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗝𝘂𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗿𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗮'𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽.

The first Arpana self-help group was 15 women in village Kutail Gamri who have successfully transformed their lives today through Arpana’s guidance on savings, health and nutrition, micro-credit loans, income generating activities, local governance, responsibilities, and rights.

𝙄𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙪𝙨𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙚𝙚 𝙖 𝙢𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙡 𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙠 𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙪𝙣𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙮𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙧𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙜𝙞𝙧𝙡𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙥.

26 underprivileged rural girls walked the ramp at village Modipur (Haryana), wearing edgy and glamorous traditional Indian wear in their program on 19th July, for an audience of about 400 enthusiastic village folk!

These 26 girls had completed Arpana’s Training Programs for Beauty Culture Skills or for Tailoring Skills. They then decided to hold a fashion show in the village for the residents who only saw such events in films or on TV.

It was empowering to witness the fascination of stylish creations being worn by individuals who don’t identify with the fashion world on a daily basis.

The fashion show was an occasion that also included dances, mehendi competitions, and singing performances – an entertaining event for an audience of more than 400 women.
