As per the guidelines of SBTET, the Swachh Andhra Pledge was conducted for the Diploma Programme at College of Engineering, .

In the job fair held on the 5th of this month at JRDMS Engineering College, 113 candidates were selected for various jobs. Today, job offer letters were handed over to 60 of them.

At this event, management member Mr. Veeramachaneni Kiran congratulated the selected candidates and suggested that everyone should take advantage of the job fairs, which will be conducted every six months. He explained that the SEEDS organization provides free job skills training to degree graduates and helps them secure employment. College Principal Dr. T. Ravikumar and Placement Officer Dr. J. Uday Bhaskar also congratulated the candidates.

YJRDMSCE – THE BEST 💙

In the process of meeting the noble vision of our President P.V.Rao Garu in empowering the rural youth and creating an ecosystem for nurturing employability skills for them, today two major events were successfully conducted:

1. A free mega Job Mela for all the eligible graduates in and around Machilipatnam.
We have a tumultous response for this program with about 370 candidates attended this job fair wherein 16 companies of national repution conductes this job drive.
A total of 143 candidates got the job offers.

2. In collaboration with, SEEDS (Social Empowerment and Economic Development Society) organization, a skill development centre, "YJRDMSCE & SEEDS Impact Centre" is inaugurated in the college campus to provide necessary training in employability skills and AI tools for both Engineering and general graduates. As part of this free program, the trainees will be provided high quality training, free learning kits, study materials and Job opportunities. For this purpose, GEET (Graduate Employability Enhancement Training Program) is exclusively designed for all the graduates.

Through this skilling centre in the college, in addition to continuous training, job fairs will be conducted periodically to create placement opportunities for all the trainees. Ofcourse, all these are free of cost 😊

Happy to share that today's Smart India Hackathon, SIH 2025 event in our college was completed successfully. The two external judges of the today's competitions are Mr. Siva Rama Krishna, Sr. DGM, Bharat Electronics Ltd and Mr. K. Prasad, CEO, Apexneura IT Solutions Ltd. Along with them two internal judges were in the jury, Dr. J. Uday Bhaskar and Dr. Sadat Ali.

A total of 9 teams (50 students) participated in the event with their innovative ideas.

Jury members were well impressed with the presentations. They also interacted with the participants and shared their thoughts and expertise in fine tuning their ideas for the next level ofu this competition.

We are glad to share the information that four students of our college first year BTech program are bestowed with ₹50,000/year YUVA UNSTOPPABLE merit scholarship for each one. This scholarship was arranged to our students through the initiation of Sujana Foundation's
SEED Scholarship Program.

Today our students received this scholarship from Sri. Sujana Chowdary M.L.A garu in a felicitation event held at Vijayawada.

An awareness seminar on anti-ragging laws was held for students at YJR DMS Engineering College under the auspices of the District Legal Services Authority.

Senior Civil Judge Sri K.V. Ramakrishnaiah attended as the chief guest, making students aware of various laws and explaining the consequences of ragging. Senior Advocate Sri Musalaiah, Psychologist Sri Subramanyeswara Rao, and Taluka Police Station ASI Sri Varma also spoke on various legal provisions.
