Great Korean Martyre YU GWAN SAN:

Currently, I am on a family visit to South Korea, visiting places, meeting local people and trying to look for areas of my interest. During all this I learnt about a young Korean girl YU GWAN SAN (1902-1920) who attained martyrdom in 1920 at the age of 17 years as she led her people (Like our Sarabha & Bhagat Singh) against the brutal Japanese colonial rule in Korea. I am in the process of getting more information regarding this great Korean revolutionary. Incidentally like India, Korea too attained independence on 15 August, 1947.

He was Saadat Ali Khan .He worked in the Indian Imperial Police, in the Punjab province. He joined as a head constable and retired as a deputy superintendent. He was the father of General Yahya Khan, the second Martial Law administrator of Pakistan (1968-71). For all the sleazy duties performed by Yahya's father, he was given the title of " Khan Sahib" by the colonial Government.
