Teachers’ Conclave Day 3
A Professional Development Workshop on Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL) was conducted by Ms. Aarti Bagdi Gill, CBSE Resource Person, educator and pedagogical researcher. The session focused on understanding adolescent psychology and the importance of nurturing students’ social and emotional well-being alongside academic growth. Ms. Gill highlighted the core competencies of SEL and emphasized the role of teachers in fostering self-awareness, emotional regulation, positive relationships and responsible decision-making among students. The workshop also addressed the impact of academic and societal pressures on adolescents and stressed the importance of collaboration between teachers and parents. The session provided valuable insights and practical strategies for creating supportive and inclusive learning environments.

Teachers’ Conclave Day 2
Sat Paul Mittal School organized an enriching workshop Coming Home to the Self for the teachers. The session was facilitated by Ms. Aimy Choudhary, Movement Therapist, Mindfulness-Based Psychotherapist and Dance Movement Therapist. Through mindfulness practices, movement-based activities, guided reflection and self-expression. Teachers explored the importance of self-awareness, emotional well-being and self-care. The session provided a meaningful opportunity for teachers to reconnect with themselves, build resilience and embrace mindful living. The workshop concluded on a reflective note, leaving participants refreshed, empowered and inspired.

As a part of Teacher’s Conclave, an engaging session for the teachers on Music Therapy and Well-being with Mr. Gagan Behl- Psychologist, Musician and Music Therapist, as he explores the profound impact of music on our emotional and mental health.
Presented in collaboration with Karaj Collective, founded by Gurvir and Ekjot, a vibrant community initiative that brings people together through music, poetry readings, theatre and meaningful cultural experiences.

Teachers Showcase: Innovative Classroom Practices - Sat Paul Mittal School
An inspiring presentation where our teachers took the centre stage to present the innovative practices they use in their classrooms every day.
From creative teaching aids and activity-based learning to tech-integrated lessons and experiential methods, each presentation reflected passion, dedication and out-of-the-box thinking. It was a powerful exchange of ideas that sparked new strategies for student engagement and deeper learning.

A showcase in the STEAM Lab was presented where the students of Classes VI-X demonstrated their creativity and technical skills through displaying 3D Designing and 3D Printing. The students displayed a variety of self-designed and 3D-printed models, including statues, toy trains, ice creams, keychains, cabinets, bookmarks, rolling dice, cars and several other creative projects.
They enthusiastically explained to parents how they use 3D design software to create models and how these designs are brought to life using 3D printers. They also shared insights on the functioning of 3D printers and highlighted the differences between modern 3D printing technology and traditional printers.

From Waste to Wonder!
The Commerce Department of Sat Paul Mittal School organized the ‘Waste to Wonder Charity Fest’ for Class XI Commerce and Humanities students under the guidance of Ms. Asha Sharma.
With creativity, innovation and social responsibility at the heart of the activity, students transformed everyday waste materials into beautiful and useful products, spreading the message of sustainability and ethical business practices. The event not only showcased entrepreneurial thinking and teamwork but also inspired students to contribute towards a cleaner and greener future.

An awareness session on the POCSO and POSH Acts was conducted by Ms. Geetanjali Kalia, School Counselor, to educate teachers about personal safety, legal rights and protection against harassment and abuse. The session highlighted ways to identify inappropriate behaviour, understand complaint procedures and seek timely support. Through interactive discussions and real-life examples, the participants were encouraged to speak up and contribute to creating a safe, respectful and supportive environment for all.

Congratulations to Satyan Tuhi Kaur of Class VII-C for securing second position in the U-13 Girls category and Satyan Bhagat Singh of Class III-D for securing second position in the U-9 Boys category at the District Level Chess Tournament held at BCM School, Lalton Kalan, organised by the Punjab Chess Association.

The session focused on effective classroom observation, objective documentation and the importance of maintaining factual, non-judgemental anecdotal records. Through interactive activities and practical examples, educators gained valuable insights into behavioural documentation and assessment practices. The workshop proved to be highly informative, engaging and professionally enriching for all the teachers.

Sensory Adventure Day at Ankur!
Our little Satyans had a blast exploring and learning through play!
They explored mystery fragrances to spark curiosity, guessed secret sounds to boost listening skills and conquered the balance beam to build confidence and coordination. Sponge & Squeeze fun helped strengthen tiny hands, while the Sensory Path introduced them to exciting new textures. Every giggle, step and splash was a step toward growing stronger, smarter and more confident.
