Guru Nanak Public School, Model Town Extension, Ludhiana organised a Talent Hunt - Dance Competition for the students of Classes IV, V, and VI. Students showcased their talent with captivating performances in the categories of Western, Folk Dance, Classical, Semi-Classical, Bhangra and Giddha.

The competition aimed to promote creativity, confidence, and self-expression while providing a platform for students to exhibit their artistic abilities. The colourful and energetic performances enthralled the audience and made the event a grand success.

Guru Nanak Public School, Model Town Extension, Ludhiana celebrated the festival of Teej with great enthusiasm and fervour. Students dressed in vibrant ethnic attire and enjoyed folk dances,
traditional songs and cultural performances.

A special Teej Beauty and Cultural Pageant was also organised, where participants gracefully showcased their traditional attire, confidence and knowledge of Punjabi culture. Ekjot Kaur of XID was crowned Miss Teej. Navgeet Kaur of IX-B and Prabhsakhi Kaur of XI-C were declared the First and Second Runners-up, respectively. Sukhleen Kaur of IX-B won the Best Ramp Walk title, Diya Channa of X-B was crowned Teej Glamour Queen, while Ahinis of X-A was declared Miss Elegant.

Principal Darspreet Kaur congratulated all the participants, appreciated their efforts and highlighted the importance of preserving our rich cultural heritage.

Guru Nanak Public School, Model Town Extension, Ludhiana, organised an Inter-Class Debate Competition for Classes XI and XII to foster critical thinking, logical reasoning, effective communication, and public speaking skills.

The students presented well-structured arguments both for and against contemporary issues, demonstrating confidence, clarity, eloquence, and analytical acumen.

Guru Nanak Public School, Model Town Extension, Ludhiana, organised a “Maths in Mandalas” activity for the students of Class VIII. The event aimed to blend mathematics with art by encouraging students to create beautiful mandala designs using mathematical concepts such as symmetry, patterns, shapes, and geometric designs.The event made learning mathematics enjoyable, engaging, and visually enriching while fostering creativity and critical thinking among the students.

The Principal applauded the students for their enthusiastic participation, creativity and sincere efforts and appreciated the teachers for successfully organising the activity.

A Moment of Pride for GNPS!

We are proud to share that Principal Darspreet Kaur was honoured at the "Bridge to Brilliance – Principal’s Honour Conclave" hosted by CT University, Ludhiana.

The conclave brought together leading educators to discuss NEP 2020, AI and ML integration, Robotics, technology-driven learning, value-based education, and holistic development for 21st-century learners.

This recognition celebrates her visionary leadership and dedication to academic excellence, experiential learning, and nurturing confident, future-ready individuals.
