Today, we celebrate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation and the apostle of non-violence. He was born on 2nd October 1869 in Porbandar, Gujarat. He led India’s freedom struggle against British colonial rule with his principles of truth and non-violence. He inspired millions of people across the world with his courage, conviction, and compassion. He taught us to live in harmony with ourselves and others, to respect all forms of life, and to strive for social justice and peace. He is a symbol of hope and humanity for all of us. Let us remember his words: “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”
