, supported by Department of School Education & Literacy align with the vision of to ensure equitable, accessible and learner-centric .
Through curriculum reforms, teacher capacity building and learner support, NCERT leverages initiatives such as 200 PM e-Vidya Channels, DIKSHA platform, dedicated Indian Sign Language (ISL) channel and PRASHAST 2.0 to enable inclusive learning, early identification of learning needs and universal access to quality educational resources, empowering every learner to participate and progress.
These efforts ensure that every learner, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to learn, grow and succeed.

A joint workshop was convened by the Department of School Education & Literacy (DoSEL) and the Department of Sports, co-chaired by Shri Sanjay Kumar, Secretary, DoSEL, Ministry of Education and Shri Hari Ranjan Rao, Secretary, Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
The workshop, attended by all stakeholders, deliberated on key takeaways from the 5th Chief Secretaries’ Conference, held on 26th to 28th December 2025, chaired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister and organised by NITI Aayog. The workshop outlined a strategic roadmap and actionable steps for coordinated implementation by both departments, in a wholeof Government approach.
