Computer-aided design (CAD) is the use of computer systems to assist in the creation, modification, analysis, or optimization of a design. CAD software is used to increase the productivity of the designer, improve the quality of design, improve communications through documentation, and to create a database for manufacturing. CAD output is often in the form of electronic files for print, machining, or other manufacturing operations.

Tip– Entities

Mirror entities is a sketch feature that comes in handy in some situations where you have a sketch which is symmetrical about a centerline.
Don’t waste time trying to create both sides of a detailed shape when there is symmetry!
Define a centerline, and use this bell-shaped icon to mirror your sketch. Mirror Feature works in much the same fashion, and is in fact often a preferable approach, depending on the circumstance.

A sometimes known as a "go-cart" or just is a small four-wheeled . Go-karts come in all shapes and forms, from motorless models to high-powered racing , some, like , being able to beat cars on long circuits.

A rack and pinion is a type of linear actuator that comprises a pair of gears which convert rotational motion into linear motion. A circular called "the pinion" engages teeth on a linear "gear" bar called "the rack"; rotational motion applied to the pinion causes the rack to move, thereby translating the rotational motion of the pinion into the linear motion of the rack.

Applications :-
>Steering System in
>Rack
>Actuators

A best practice is to fully define all . However, sometimes this is not practical. When you create shapes, generally by using splines, these shapes cannot easily be fully defined, and even if they are fully defined, the extra are usually meaningless, because it is impractical to dimension splines on .

First angle and Third angle

First angle projections are the same as third angle except that the Right view is placed on the left of the Front view; the Top view is placed on the bottom. The effect is that if you are reading a first angle but expecting a third angle drawing, the views appear to
be incorrect.

Third angle projections are created as if the observer moves to the named side of the part, and the named view is placed in the named orientation with respect to the Front view. So the Right view is created by looking at the part from the right side, and then placing the Right view to the right of the Front view.

A football is a ball inflated with air that is used to play one of the various known as football.
The first balls were made of natural materials, such as an inflated pig bladder, later put inside a leather cover, which has given rise to the slang-term "pigskin". Modern balls are designed by teams of engineers to exacting specifications, with rubber or plastic bladders, and often with plastic covers.

Various leagues and games use different balls, though they all have one of the following basic shapes:
> a sphere: used in Association football and Gaelic football
> a prolate spheroid
> either with rounded ends: used in the rugby codes and Australian football
> or with more pointed ends: used in American football and Canadian football

Alloy wheels are wheels that are made from an alloy of aluminum or magnesium. They are typically lighter for the same strength and provide better heat conduction and improved cosmetic appearance over steel wheels. The earliest light alloy wheels were made of magnesium alloys.

Lighter wheels can improve handling by reducing unsprung mass, allowing suspension to follow the terrain more closely and thus improve grip, however not all alloy wheels are lighter than their steel equivalents. Reduction in overall vehicle mass can also help to reduce fuel consumption
