USPC Jain Institute of Professional Studies

On this day, the members of Managing Committee, staff and students of USPC Jain Institute of Professional Studies, Friends Colony, Jamalpur, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana cleaned the approach road of the Institute. The residents of the locality also participated in the mass movement of cleanliness and appreciated the effort undertaken by the family members of USPC Jain Institute of Professional Studies.

As a part of this programme, a pledge was undertaken by one and all that they will do everything possible to keep their surrounding neat and clean. Cleanliness and healthy environment are the most important factors for a society to achieve wholesome progress in all spheres of life.

On this occasion, Shri Mohinder Pal Jain, General Secretary of the Managing Committee of USPC Jain Institute of Professional Studies highlighted the importance of cleanliness. He said Cleanliness is the opposite of Dirty. Nobody would like to live in dirty environment. That is the reason, why cleanliness is taught in every one’s life.

Cleanliness starts from each of us. It can be personal cleanliness, cleanliness of our room, home, school, or our street. We should not throw anything in the street. Instead, it should be put in the dust bin. This way, we can help to keep our surrounding clean.

On 2nd October i.e. on the birth day of Mahatma Gandhi, father of the nation, the Government of India has launched a massive mass movement of cleanliness known as Swachh Bharat Mission. Cleanliness was very close to Mahatma Gandhi's heart. A clean India is the best tribute we can pay to Mahatma Gandhi popularly known as Bapu when we celebrate his birth anniversary. Mahatma Gandhi sacrificed his life so that we can enjoy the fruits of ‘Swarajya’. Now the time has come to devote ourselves towards 'Swachchhata' (cleanliness) of our motherland.
