We are thrilled to announce another proud sporting achievement for Amrit Indo Canadian Academy (AICA)! ๐ŸŽ‰
Our U-17 Boys Handball Team clinched ๐Ÿฅ‡ FIRST POSITION at the prestigious Zone Level Handball Tournament held at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, on 10th & 11th August 2026.

With exceptional athleticism, strategic discipline, fitness, and remarkable team spirit, our young champions dominated the court throughout the tournament. In a thrilling final, the AICA team delivered a commanding 12โ€“6 victory against IPS, securing the Championship Trophy! ๐Ÿ†

Amrit Indo Canadian Academy organised an Inter-Section Hindi Debate Competition for the students of Grade IV on the thought-provoking topic โ€œเคฎเคพเค-เคฌเฅ‡เคŸเฅ€ เคธเคคเฅเค•เคพเคฐ เคฏเฅ‹เคœเคจเคพโ€

The competition provided our young speakers with an enriching platform to express their perspectives, present well-reasoned arguments and engage with diverse viewpoints. The participants demonstrated remarkable confidence, clarity of thought, effective communication and critical thinking throughout the event.

The lively exchange of ideas reflected the studentsโ€™ preparedness and enthusiasm, while also encouraging them to develop the ability to analyse issues and articulate their opinions with conviction.

๐ŸŽถ The children presented beautiful patriotic songs and rhymes with energetic movements and expressive performances.
๐Ÿฆธโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿฆธโ€โ™€๏ธ A special Freedom Fighters Ramp Walk added charm to the celebration, as our little ones dressed up as inspiring freedom fighters and confidently walked the ramp.

๐Ÿ’ƒ Energetic dance performances brought the stage alive with joy and enthusiasm.

Amrit Indo Canadian Academy Celebrates Academic Excellence and Student Creativity at Class VII Prize
Distribution Function

Amrit Indo Canadian Academy organized a grand Prize Distribution Function for the students of Class VII,
commemorating their academic achievements and celebrating their creative talents. The ceremony
began on an auspicious and serene note with a soul-stirring Shabad Gayan, invoking divine blessings and
setting a dignified tone for the event. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as students, faculty
members, and management gathered to applaud the accomplishments of the young achievers.

The highlight of the function was a series of creative, curriculum-based dramatic performances presented by different sections of Class VII, each seamlessly aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Class VII-A presented an engaging tribute titled A Homage to Our Brave Soldiers (English), highlighting SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) and SDG 4 (Quality Education). Class VII-B staged an insightful presentation titled Dimaag Ki Baatiyan, Kharaab Circuit,
focusing on problem-solving, innovative thinking, and learning, perfectly aligned with SDG 9 (Industry,
Innovation, and Infrastructure) and SDG 4 (Quality Education). Shifting to ancient history and statecraft,
Class VII-C enacted The Story of Kautilya (Social Science), linking themes of economic growth, governance, and justice to SDG 1, 2, 8, and 16. Mathematical and scientific concepts were equally brought to life on stage through compelling
narratives. Class VII-D conceptualized an innovative act titled Integers: The Battle of Temperatures(Mathematics), where positive and negative numbers represented environmental themes such as clean energy versus pollution. Class VII-E presented Earth, Moon and Sun (Science), emphasizing climate
action, environmental stewardship, and quality education. Class VII-F performed a meaningful play on
Jal Ka Mahatva (Hindi), spreading awareness regarding water conservation, environmental
responsibility, and self-discipline. Concluding the class presentations, Class VII-G delivered a powerful
theatrical act titled Kirat Da Satkar (Punjabi), depicting the dignity of labor, eradication of social discrimination, and the value of honest hard work in alignment with SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).

Following the dramatic presentations, the school honored the academic achievers. The Chief Guest for
the occasion, Principal Ms. Jaskiran Kaur awarded trophies to the students for their outstanding academic performance. In her address, Principal Ms. Jaskiran Kaur commended the students for their creative ingenuity and academic dedication, noting that education fulfills its true purpose when conceptual knowledge moves
beyond textbooks onto the stage. She emphasized that seeing middle school students translate complex academic subjects and global SDGs into impactful performances reflects both deep learning and creative maturity.
The memorable event culminated in a vibrant group song presented by the students of Class VII across
all sections.

The UKG learners of Amrit Indo Canadian Academy celebrated Independence Day with immense enthusiasm, patriotism and joy. The celebration was thoughtfully planned to help our young learners understand the meaning of freedom, the importance of unity, and the sacrifices of our brave freedom fighters in an engaging, age-appropriate way.
๐ŸŽถ Patriotic songs filled the air with pride.
๐Ÿ’ƒ Energetic music and movement brought the stage alive.
๐Ÿคซ A creative mime act conveyed meaningful messages through expressions and actions.
๐ŸŒŸ Role-play and colourful costumes brought famous personalities and national heroes to life.
Our little performers displayed wonderful confidence, creativity, teamwork and enthusiasm. They learned to follow stage instructions, coordinate with their peers, listen attentively and perform with discipline.
The celebration beautifully blended learning with expression, helping children develop their communication, vocabulary, gross-motor and expressive skills while nurturing an early appreciation for our national heritage.
