ATL Students visited to the Space Applications Centre (SAC), ISRO, Ahmedabad was an inspiring and unforgettable experience. We had the opportunity to visit the PLASIVE Lab, the Microwave Remote Sensing Division, and the Indian Remote Sensing Applications Centre, where we learned about India's advanced satellite technology, remote sensing, and space research.

One of the major attractions was the stunning 3D satellite imagery of Kailash Mansarovar and the Tehri Dam, which demonstrated how satellites help us observe and study the Earth with remarkable accuracy.

A special highlight of the visit was an interactive session with Dr. K.K.Sood, Deputy Director of SATCOM is space application centre ISRO. Students and teachers enthusiastically asked questions about space exploration, time travel, black holes, dark matter, dark energy, remote sensing and the possibility of alien life. The discussion was highly informative and encouraged scientific thinking and curiosity.

As we return to Ludhiana, we carry with us valuable knowledge, unforgettable memories, and renewed inspiration to explore the wonders of science and space. This visit has motivated both students and teachers to dream big, think scientifically, and contribute to India's future in space research.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to the Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Trust and Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana, for giving us this wonderful opportunity to visit ISRO.
