Six Month Certificate Course in Advance CAD/CAM & CNC Machines

This course in structured for ITI, Diploma and B.Tech/M.Tech. holders though technical from industry with qualification as low as Matric can be benefitted with this course.

One Year Diploma in Advance CAD/CAM & CNC Machines

This one year diploma is beneficial especially for ITI and Diploma holders although B.Tech./M.Tech. can also pursue this diploma.

Course Content :
Navigating the user interface, creating and editing a sketch, creating and modifying curves, using tools to measure objects, building an assembly, making contextual edits, inserting parts into an assembly, drafting, data organization in the part navigator, reference datums, creating splines and curves, extruding and revolving surfaces, sweeps, meshes and fills, trimming, extending, and combining sheets, surface analysis, etc.

CATIA

CATIA is an acronym for Computer Aided Three-dimensional Interactive Application. It is one of the leading 3D software used by organizations in multiple industries ranging from aerospace, automobile to consumer products. CATIA is a multi-platform 3D software suite developed by Dassault Systems, encompassing CAD, CAM as well as CAE.

MasterCam

MasterCam is a computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software program used by manufacturing professionals, such as machinists and computer numerical control (CNC) programmers. It is one of the oldest developers of PC-based computer-aided design / computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) software.

Course Content :
Design- Sketching, Solid and Surface modelling. Mill- 2D, 2.5D and 3D mill toolpaths which includes all Roughing, Rest and Finishing strategies. Lathe- Turning toolpaths such as Facing, Internal & External operations such as Turning, Threading, Grooving, etc.

Power Shape & Power Mill

PowerShape is a 3D CAD solution which allows for the design of 3D complex models using surfaces, solids and triangles. The software allows for the import of 3D point cloud data to reverse engineer 3D models whereas PowerMill is a 3D CAM solution used for the programming of tool paths for 2 to 5 axis CNC Milling machines developed by Autodesk Inc. The software is used in a range of different engineering industries to determine optimal tool paths to reduce time and manufacturing costs as well as reduce tool loads and produce smooth surface finishes.

This course is suitable for anyone who is seeking career in CNC machining and want to learn CNC Milling-VMC(Programming and Operating). These milling machines have vertically oriented spindles that approach work pieces mounted on their table from above and commonly perform 2.5- or 3-axis machining operations. They are less costly than horizontal machining centres (HMCs), which makes them attractive to small job shops as well as larger machining operations
