In the memory of Gandhi ji's sacrifice and to honour his legacy, a Martyrs' Day was observed in the GIS, Ldh campus today. A two minutes silence was observed in the entire school where all the students stood silent in their classes in order to pay respect to Gandhi Ji, who'll always be remembered as the father of the nation.

In order to celebrate Vasant Panchmi, one of the prominent Indian festivals that celebrates the advent of Spring Season was celebrated in Gitanjali International School. A Pooja ceremony was organised in the school to pay an ode to Goddess Saraswati, the deity of wisdom and knowledge. Everyone offered their prayers to the goddess, seeking her blessings for wisdom, knowledge, and creativity.

To mark the day on which our constitution came into effect in 1950, Gitanjali International School, Ludhiana celebrated Republic Day with pride and reverence. The ceremony began with the hoisting of the flag by the General Manager Mr. Pradeep Pamidi and the Principal Ms. Sunaina Kapoor followed by the National Anthem.

The celebrations for the day incepted with a special assembly wherein the students of School Council presented a Parade March followed by the students of House Council. The students also presented poems, speeches , groups songs and dances during the assembly. To celebrate the monumental day, a number of activities were organised for the students where they were involved in College making and Class Presentation activities. The Principal Ms. Sunaina Kapoor inspired the students and asked them to abide with the constitution and fulfill all their duties as responsible citizens.

“The tricolor flutter’s high, symbolizing our nation’s strength & unity”. It’s our turn to honour the brave hearts who sacrificed for our freedom!

Gitanjali International School, Ludhiana participated in an inter School Taekwando Competition in Faridkot. All the students who participated brought laurels to the school. Krishna Bhargav, Gurpartap Sing, Manish Kumar bagged the First Position followed by Japneet Kaur,Kavleen Kaur and Ravneet Singh who bagged 2nd position. Third position was bagged up by Mohammad Aarif Salmani, Urjit Gupta, Aarav Verma, Uzair Sarwar, Simarjit Singh , Jashanjot Singh and Ekampreet Singh. The best player trophy was bagged up by Manish Kumar. The General Manager Mr.Pradeep Pamidi and the Principal Ms. Sunaina Kapoor congratulated the students for their success and also presented awards to the students for their outstanding performance in the competition.
