PG Department of commerce in collaboration with IQAC under the guidance Dr Priyaka Khanna has been organized Workshop with the basic objectives of getting an overview of Outcome-based education with respect to its three phrases design, implementation and assessment and also To update educators about six levels of learning hierarchy in Bloom Taxonomy.
To enlightened the faculty more on this topic DR. Manpreet Kaur, Assistant Professor at Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management, Ludhiana was there. She is doctorate from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar in the field of Bank Marketing. She has teaching and research experience of 14 years. Her specialization is in Goods and services tax, research methodology and statistical tools. She has 28 research papers to her credit, published in various journals indexed in ABDC, ABS, Scopus and like. She has been awarded with ‘SAURABH SHIWARE MEMORIAL YOUNG RESEARCHER AWARD’ from Indian Commerce Association. She is also recipient of ‘BEST PHD THESIS AWARD IN THE DISCIPLINE OF MANAGEMENT’ by Indian Society for Training and Development.

One day Faculty Development Programme #2/12/2022

PG Department of Commerce, Khalsa college for women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana Organized one day workshop on Introduction to Tally software and GST for B.com I on 17th November, 2022. The session was conducted by CA Jagjit Singh. More than 120 students participated in this witkshop. He is tax consultant cm professional trainer with specialization in Goods and Service Tax. The main aim of the workshop was to understand basic computer accounting concepts that will help the students in their academics along with their future professional advancement. Tally (Computer Accounting) and GST helps the students in establishing their career in Accounting, Taxation and GST. All the concepts discussed by the resource person in relation to Input Tax Credit, One System Tax, Creation of Company, Vouchers Creation and Back and Restore data in Tally Software to enhance the knowledge of students.
