GTB honours achievers
S. Sukhwinder Singh Bindra, Chairman PYD Board recently came to GTB National College Dakha to honour the achievers of various co-curricular and sports events of the college. SS Bindra ji motivated the young students to work hard to achieve their goals. Principal Dr Avtar Singh thanked him for coming to the college on behalf of management, staff and students of the college. He also congratulated the teachers who worked day and night for the achievements.

1st January, 2022.
The new year began on a propitious note. Having won the B Division gold in 2019-20, GTB National College Dakha was honoured by Panjab University Chandigarh. A glittering function was held in the sports department. All gold winning Principals and coaches were given trophies by the chief guest Prof DP Singh former UGC chairman, Vice Chancellor Prof Raj Kumar and other dignitaries. This historical trophy had visited GTB National College Dakha for two consecutive years in 1996-97 and 1998-99. Heartiest congratulations to the cricket boys, Prof RS Sodhi and Prof Taranjit Singh for their achievement and bringing honour to the college.

2nd December 2021
Last day of Inter college youth festival. GTB National boys won third prize in Bhangra. Ishpreet Singh of BA I won best 3rd performer award.
Quiz team won 3rd prize in a pool of seventten teams
In heritage quiz our team was placed fourth in a tough game.
In Luddi our team won 2nd position.
Simran of M Com I won 2nd best performer award.
Overall we won fifteen awards out of which four were first prizes.

1st December 2021
On day 4 of Youth festival Sumandeep Kaur of BA I won 3 rd prize in Hindi wrting ( calligraphy). Other team members also put up a commendable performance. Kudos students and teachers.

GTB students make it big in PU Zonal youth festival at Narangwal.
In the first three days of the Moga Ferozepur A zone Youth festival GTB students have won a total of nine prizes . Two in heritage, One in musical items, one in creative item ( elocution) and five in theatrical items. Out of these four Mime, Skit, Individual best in skit and individual best in mime were first. Congratulations team GTB.

30 th November 2021
Warm welcome to victorious cricket team on return to college. The GTB National College Dakha team which won gold medal at Panjab University Chandigarh yesterday was accorded a grand welcome by the Principal, staff students and management of the college. The team members danced to the accompaniment of Dhol and took a round of the college. All teachers and students were ecstatic.

29th November 2021
GTB lads trounced GNN Narangwal to win Gold medal in PU Chandigarh B Division cricket tournament. Congratulations to team, Prof RS Sodhi and Prof Tarandeep Singh.

28th November 2021
GTB Cricket team wins semi final by defeating GGDSD Hariana. Batting first GTB boys scored 137 for six. GGSD team was bundled out for 69.
