Sometimes the class you’re invited to teach ends up teaching you something back. ✨

The topic was *Passion to Pathways* at Shri Ram Global School, and while the students expected a regular calligraphy session with strokes and lettering… I wanted to show them something bigger.

That passion doesn’t always begin where you expect it to.

I told them how I’m actually a computer science engineer, someone who was “supposed” to write code, not create art. But one pen, one hobby, one small curiosity changed everything.

And that’s the beauty of learning, nothing ever goes to waste.

Today, my coding background helps me merge calligraphy with engraving, Cricut machines, digital tools, and creative business ideas in ways I never imagined years ago.

Watching their reactions while engraving live on glass and showing Cricut designs come alive was the best part.
“Ma’am, this is also calligraphy?”
“Ma’am, can this become a business?”

Yes. A hundred times yes. 🤍

You can become a doctor, engineer, coder, architect, anything you dream of.
But if you carry art with you along the journey, it gives you something deeply personal. Something uniquely yours.

I walked in thinking I was the teacher.
I walked out reminded that passion is never just one path —
it’s a doorway to many.
