It is a matter of great pride that Mrs Harrmeet Kaur Waraich Principal of Nankana Sahib Public School Gill Park Ludhiana has been awarded with FAP National award. She has been awarded this prestigious award by the Federation of Affiliated Private Schools.
Mrs. Waraich has around thirty years of experience as a renowned academician. She has been awarded this award for being a beacon of guidance. It was presented by Mr. Satnam Singh Sandhu, Member Parliament & Dr Jagjit Sjngh, President FAP. THE association appreciated her contribution to society by shaping the lives of the future citizens and on strengthening the foundation of the nation.

BBL fame Nikhil Chaudhary interacted with NSPS students
It was a wonderful day for all the students of Nankana Sahib Public School Gill Park when Big Bash League fame Nikhil Chaudhary interacted with them in a special assembly.
An Indian born cricketer Nikhil Chaudhary currently plays for Big Bash League in Australia.
Before that he had undergone rigorous training at Nankana Sahib Public School cricket Academy under the guidance of Mr Charanit the Sports teacher of the school. He interacted with the budding cricketers of the school and motivated them to hone their playing skills to the best of their ability.
While sharing his experience with students and teachers in the morning assembly he said, "The strenuous hard work, consistency and my competition with myself helped me touch this height. I used to get up at wee hours in Australia and managed everything on my own including longer hours of practice till late evening. I met my parents after four years. I am thankful to the Principal of NSPS Mrs Harmeet Kaur Waraich for allowing me to practice in the school ground and sports teacher Mr Charanjit for guiding me so well. Finally, my talent was recognized and I could achieve my aim."
It needs to be mentioned here that Nikhil Chaudhary is the second Indian after Unmukt Chand and first Punjab's cricketer who played in BBL.
Talking to students, the famous cricketer said, “Give your hundred percent whether sports, academics or any other field of life. You will definitely excel with the blessings of Almighty."
The school cricket team of different categories interacted with the cricket star and felt proud.
While applauding his efforts the school Principal Mrs Harmeet Kaur Waraich said, "
Playing sports with dedication always fulfils one's dreams of being a good sportsperson. Nikhil is a live example for all of us. It's your attitude which determines your altitude."
She appreciated his humbleness despite attaining a level of such an attitude.

Labour day celebration at NSPS
Nankana Sahib Public School, Gill Park Ludhiana celebrated Labour Day with enthusiasm. The students of Primary Wing brought fruit baskets for all the Supporting staff of the school and handed over them with respect and humbleness.
Earlier the students recited poems and speeches related to May Day during the morning assembly.
The school Principal Mrs Harmeet Kaur Waraich spoke at length about the importance of Labour Day. She told the students that May 1 was chosen to be the International Workers Day to commemorate the 1886 Haymarket affair in Chicago.
She asked the students to recognise their potential and put in their hard work accordingly. All the Supporting staff of the school were felicitated and served eatables in a special gathering. Mrs Waraich appreciated their hard work, dedication and honesty. She wished them good health and prosperity.

NSPS Principal awarded with Edulcon award
It is a matter of great pride that Principal of Nankana Sahib Public School Gill Park has been conferred with Edulcon Award in a prestigious function of GSLC AcadElite Awards- 2026 organized at Delhi. Mrs Waraich who is city coordinator of CBSE was awarded for her outstanding contribution, visionary leadership and commitment to excellence in education. Mr Pankaj Sharma Founder and CEO of GSLC awarded her with citation and momento.
It needs to be mentioned here that Mrs Waraich is also serving as National trainer of CBSE. She has been in the field of academics for more than three decades.

NSPS Young minds shine at Dharmik Preekhya-2025.
The students of Nankana Sahib Public School Gill Park excelled in Dharmik Preekhya 2025 organised by Sikh Missionary College. The exam witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 250 students. The event aimed to promote linguistic excellence and cultural awareness, encouraging students to deepen their connection with the Punjabi language.
The results reflected outstanding performance and dedication of students. Two students, Kiratleen Kaur from Grade VI and Ekamveer Singh from Grade V, brought laurels to the institution by securing positions in the Merit category. In addition, 5 students achieved Grade A, 8 students were awarded Grade B, and 6 students secured Grade C, showcasing commendable efforts across all levels.
All achievers were honoured with awards in recognition of their hard work and excellence. The remaining participants were also appreciated for their sincere efforts and were presented with certificates, making the event a celebration of participation and learning.
The school Principal Mrs Harmeet Kaur Waraich congratulated the students and appreciated their remarkable achievements. In her address, she stated, “Language is not just a means of communication but a reflection of our culture and identity. I am immensely proud of our students for their dedication and enthusiasm towards preserving and excelling in Punjabi."

NSPS Shines in State Gatka Championship 2026.
Nankana Sahib Public School students participated in the 12th State Gatka (Boys) Championship – 2026, organized by Gatka Association Punjab held at Guru Nanak Model Senior Secondary School, Lodhi Majra (Rupnagar).
Two talented students, Sukhmanpreet Singh (Class IX) and Japkirat Singh (Class VI), represented the school with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Demonstrating skill, discipline, and dedication, both of them secured an impressive 2nd position, bringing laurels to the school.
The School Principal Mrs Harmeet Kaur Waraich extended heartfelt congratulations to the students, saying, "We are extremely proud of their remarkable participation and achievement. Their dedication and discipline reflect the true spirit of our school."

NSPS Shines at STEM Fest 2026
Once again XII achievers of Nankana Sahib Public School Gill Park proved their potential by winning good positions in STEM Fest 2026, an Inter-School district level competition organised by PCTE Group of Institutes, Ludhiana.
Anmol Pandey, a student of Class XII (Arts) secured second position in the event “Visual Storytelling with Photography”, where the theme was “School Campus”. His creative perspective and artistic presentation earned him a cash prize of ₹1500.
In another exciting event, “Hooked on Reels”, Jasleen Kaur and Harnoor Kaur of Class XII (Commerce) secured third position, winning a cash prize of ₹1000 for their engaging and innovative reel presentation.
The school Principal, Mrs. Harmeet Kaur Waraich congratulated the winners and stated; “Our students have demonstrated that creativity and innovation go hand in hand with education. Their achievements at STEM Fest 2026 reflect their dedication, talent, and the guidance of our committed teachers."
