Amity Law School (ALS), in association with the Department of Student Welfare (DSW) successfully organised a two-day International Seminar on "The Role of Hindi in International Arbitration: Opportunities and Challenges" on 22nd–23rd September 2026.

The inaugural session was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Amar Pal Singh, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow; Mr. Mahendra Pratap Awasthi, Registrar-cum-Principal Bench Secretary, High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench; and Ms. Irvinder Bakshi, Barrister and Chartered Arbitrator, London.

The event was organised under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Anil Vashisht, Pro Vice Chancellor. Dr. Rajeev Verma (DSW) delivered the welcome address, highlighting the importance of linguistic diversity and accessibility in international arbitration and dispute resolution. The event was organised under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Tapan K*mar Chandola, Director (ALS).

The technical sessions deliberated on the role of Hindi in international arbitration, exploring opportunities and challenges in linguistic inclusion, legal translation, terminology, language barriers, and access to justice. The seminar featured research presentations from academicians, legal professionals, and students from national and international institutions.

The valedictory session was graced by Shri S.S. Upadhyay, Former Judge and Legal Advisor to Governor U.P. and Hon'ble Mr. Justice Rangnath Pandey (Retd.), High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench. The seminar reinforced the institution's commitment to fostering interdisciplinary legal scholarship on language and justice in international contexts. Amity School of Languages, in association with the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), organised Day 2 of the National Seminar on Skill Enhancement for Viksit Bharat @2047, as part of Annual Theatre Utsav 2026 Season 4.

The day featured a Panel Discussion on "Role of Digital Communication, Media Studies and Performing Arts for Viksit Bharat," moderated by Prof. (Dr.) K*m K*m Ray, Director, Amity School of Languages, and Dr. Rohit Yadav.

Ms. Sunita Aron, Former Executive Editor, Hindustan Times and Author, addressed the evolving landscape of digital journalism and corporate communication, emphasizing the importance of preparing students for the next era of professional communication practices.

Dr. Satya Prakash Prasad, Associate Professor, Jamia Millia Islamia, discussed ethics, professional upskilling, and emerging job roles in digital communication, highlighting the industry's transformation and new career pathways for professionals.

Mr. Kunal Bhargava, Director, ARK Vision and Ad Film Maker, deliberated on media studies as a catalyst for India's creative and content economy by 2047, emphasizing the strategic role of media and creative industries in nation-building.

Mr. Mohd. Taqi Abbas, Founder, Adjutsu and Content Creator, Lucknow Uncovered, highlighted digital storytelling as a contemporary form of literature and an emerging avenue of employability, showcasing innovative opportunities in content creation and digital media.

The panel discussion concluded with engaging question-and-answer sessions and a Vote of Thanks by Dr. A. B. R. Prasad, Associate Professor, Amity School of Languages.

Amity School of Languages, in association with the Mimesis Dramatics and Film Club, presented "Double Trouble" — an engaging adaptation of William Shakespeare's timeless comedy, The Comedy of Errors, as part of Annual Theatre Utsav 2026 — Season 4.

The event was organised under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Anil Vashisht, Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University Lucknow Campus. The performance was directed by Mr. Chris Walters and assisted by Dr. Rohit Yadav, under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) K*m K*m Ray, Director, Amity School of Languages. The event was graced by special guests Retd. Professor Dr. Meenakshi Pawha, Dr. Urvashi Sahani, Mrs. Kiran Raj Bisaria, and Mr. Alok Paradkar, along with enthusiastic students from Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University (SRMU) and Amity University, and proud parents of the student performers.

The production showcased the talents and creative prowess of our student performers through vibrant storytelling, mistaken identities, and comic confusion, bringing Shakespeare's celebrated comedy to life in a refreshing and engaging form. Amity Innovation Incubator organised Startup Launchpad Season 3 on 22nd September 2026, providing students from across disciplines with a platform to showcase their innovative products, prototypes, services, and startup ideas.

The event was held under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Anil Vashisht, Pro Vice Chancellor, who motivated and inspired students to think boldly, pursue their ideas with conviction, and embrace innovation as a driver of meaningful change. Wg. Cdr. (Dr.) Anil K*mar Tiwari, Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor, also addressed the students, encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration and entrepreneurial thinking.

Students presented their solutions, unique value propositions, target markets, and business potential through startup stalls. Amity Institute of Information Technology (AIIT) organised a Guest Lecture followed by INNOVISION 2026.

The event commenced with a welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Singh, Deputy Director, AIIT. Mr. Sandeep Joshi, Regional Head – Academic Alliances Group, TCS, Lucknow, delivered an insightful session on “AI-Powered Innovation: Transforming Ideas into Impact”, encouraging students to explore Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies to transform ideas into practical, future-ready solutions.
