In accordance with the curriculum prescribed by Central Board of Secondary Education, skill-based learning and creative education have been made an essential part of the teaching-learning process. The school is fully committed to conducting educational activities in alignment with these guidelines.
Under this initiative, Delhi Public School Shaheed Path organized a five-day educational excursion to Jim Corbett National Park from 18 May 2026 to 21 May 2026 during the academic session 2026–27.
During the trip, students spent a few days amidst nature, away from the pollution and rush of city life. They developed a deeper understanding of the importance of nature and the environment and learned to live in harmony with it. The trip also helped them realize that life can be joyful even without modern gadgets and technology.
Through various games and group activities, students learned the value of teamwork and cooperation, understanding how mutual support helps in building a healthy social environment. Adventure activities such as zip lining, body surfing and raft making provided students with practical exposure to survival and life-saving techniques. The jungle safari further enhanced their knowledge about forest rules, wildlife and biodiversity.
Overall, the educational excursion successfully fulfilled its objectives by providing students with experiential learning, environmental awareness and valuable life skills.
