🌳 DAY 1 - RAKSHABANDHAN WEEK CELEBRATION | FROM OUR HANDS TO OUR GREEN GUARDIANS 🌳

“A Rakhi of Thanks to the ones who protect us silently every day!”

The Junior Section of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I celebrated Day 1 of Rakshabandhan Week with a unique and heartwarming activity - Vriksha Bandhan.

Under the able guidance of our Art Teacher, Ms. Pragya Gupta, our young students prepared beautiful, eco-friendly handmade Rakhis and tied them on the trees in our school campus.

The activity aimed to sensitise children to acknowledge and thank nature, especially trees and plants, for the protection they provide us by giving us oxygen, shade, fruits and a cleaner environment.

We thank our respected Principal Ma’am, Ms. Soma Chandra, and our respected Vice Principal Academics, Ms. Preeti Sharma, for their motivation and guidance in taking up this activity. Heartfelt thanks are also due to our Junior Section Incharge, Ms. Subuhi Sayed, for her constant encouragement and cooperation in making this activity meaningful and insightful for our students.
