Day-2 IC 2026-Technical Sessions and Valedictory Ceremony -
The second day of the IC commenced with Track 3 & Track 4, focusing on Sustainable Development and Environmental Governance and Business, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Development.
Simultaneously, Tracks 7 & 9 explored Society, Culture, and Social Transformation alongside Ethics, Human Rights, and Inclusive Development. Presenters examined key issues related to social justice, ethical governance, cultural shifts, human rights, gender sensitivity, and inclusive policymaking.
Track 8, dedicated to Science, Technology, and Human Development.
The technical sessions were enriched by the scholarly guidance and expert moderation of distinguished panel experts, including Dr. Asad Mirza (Assistant Professor, Shia P.G. College, Lucknow), Dr. Gyan Prakash (Associate Professor, University of Lucknow), Prof. Shamama Mirza (J.N.P.G. College, Lucknow), Dr. Richa Chand (NSN P.G. College, Lucknow), Dr. Zeba Aqil (Integral University, Lucknow), Dr. Manoj Kumar (Assistant Professor, University of Lucknow), and Dr. Prachi Srivastava (Amity University).
The conference concluded with a grand Valedictory Ceremony, graced by Prof. Alok Dhawan, Former Director, CBMR, Lucknow, as the Chief Guest. In his inspiring valedictory address, Prof. Dhawan highlighted the importance of multidisciplinary research, innovation, and ethical responsibility in addressing emerging global challenges. He appreciated the organisers for creating a robust platform for scholarly dialogue and collaborative learning.

-Inaugural Session and Technical Sessions

The first day of the International Conference on “Governance, Innovation and Society: Emerging Multidisciplinary Challenges” commenced with a grand inaugural session marked by academic excellence, insightful deliberations, and distinguished participation from eminent scholars, dignitaries, and participants from diverse disciplines.
The conference was honoured by the gracious presence of Dr. Faizan Mustafa, Vice Chancellor, National Law University, Patna, as the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker. Dr. Mustafa delivered a highly impressive and intellectually enriching keynote address, highlighting the evolving dimensions of governance, the transformative role of innovation, and the significance of multidisciplinary approaches in addressing contemporary societal challenges. His profound insights inspired scholars and participants alike, setting a thoughtful and dynamic tone for the conference.
The inaugural session was also graced by the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Chairman Justice Imtiyaz Murtaza, Ms. Samina Imtiyaz (Vice Chairperson), Mr. Murtaza Hasnain Khan (Secretary), Ms. Asma Jawed (Coordinator), and Dr. Sunil Dhawan (Principal), whose guidance and support significantly contributed to the successful commencement of the conference.

Humanitarian Outreach Activity

The NSS Unit of Unity P.G. College, Lucknow, carried out a humanitarian outreach activity today by visiting Vikas Nagar to support victims affected by a recent fire incident. The visit was conducted in collaboration with a dedicated team of doctors from FAH Hospital.

During the visit, NSS volunteers, along with the medical team, interacted with the affected families and assessed their immediate needs. Essential ration items were distributed among the victims to provide much-needed relief during this difficult time.

In addition to relief distribution, the medical team conducted basic health check-ups and offered necessary guidance to ensure the well-being of the affected individuals.
